Random Female Stormcloak[edit]

Directly after receiving the torture upgrade from Delvin, I went to have a look. On my first trip into the chamber, a female stormcloak soldier spawned and started begging for mercy and running away. This seems pretty random to me, and I haven't been able to find anything about anyone else encountering a similar circumstance. I vote bug, but was wondering if anyone has any input.99.233.16.202 05:55, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

math doesn't add upp[edit]

Four times 1000-2000 gold doesn't add up to a "profit of 1000-2000 gold". (The upgrade costs 5000 gold).

Which is right, that each quest nets you 1000-2000 gold, or that the total profit is 1000-2000 gold?

In the first case, four times 1000-2000 gold means 4000-8000 gold, which means you can actually be unlucky and run at a loss. Or you could gain 3000 gold. In short, it means a "net result of -1000 to +3000 gold".

In the second case, the gain from each quest must be much more tightly controlled, giving out 1500-1750 gold each. Either that or the quest rewards aren't independently assigned.

I beleive the amount goes up in 250g increments and it is leveled, cant check that atm, your first case is correct and I have modified the description to be more suitable. The Silencer 18:42, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Training[edit]

You can continually beat these people up and heal them to earn up any combat and magic skills. I should note that this may make you feel like a jerk in real life though. 74.132.249.206 06:51, 28 October 2012 (GMT)

The technique I use is to flame them with one hand, while healing hand them with the other. This is a good way to train both restoration and destruction at the same time. And yes, there's a reason why it's called torture ... Agmen (talk) 02:42, 30 August 2013 (GMT)
I added the note, but without the mention of any specific technique besides healing them. Hopefully anyone reading it who didn't realize the possibilities can run with it from there. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 03:38, 30 August 2013 (GMT)

i've made a terrible mistake[edit]

can anyone advise a console command to 'undo' my purchase of the torture chaimber? i didn't expect it to be stocked with victims...they aren't even jerks about it. i can pump innocent npc's full of arrows all day long, but this is really disturbing me. should have checked on the upgrades before completing so many quests. — Unsigned comment by 98.26.163.232 (talk) at 20:32 on 17 April 2015 (GMT)

Nope, but you can kill them. Just be sure to take their money before you do it. —Legoless (talk) 20:48, 17 April 2015 (GMT)
