Another location[edit]

As far as i know the book can also be found near the beggining when you're first lockpicking the cell, on a table. --Tigerkev 18:42, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

Yep, the book can also be found there. Feel free to add it. Wolok gro-Barok 19:15, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

A Note[edit]

I'm not much of a lore person, but I do believe the links at the end aren't completely correct, or at least don't explain the events accurately. The events are actually quite simple:

"When misrule takes its place at the eight corners of the world" refers to the events of Elder Scrolls I: Arena where the Staff of Chaos is divided into eight pieces and scattered.

"When the Brass Tower walks and Time is reshaped" refers to the events of Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall where the Brass God (originally Dwarven Numidium) is operated and the possible endings.

"When the thrice-blessed fail and the Red Tower trembles" refers to the events of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind where the Tribunal, the three Dunmer gods: Vivec, Almalexia and Sotha sil who acquired their immortality through the Heart of Lorkhan, lose their immortality after the Heart is destroyed and perhaps the following events that lead to the eruption of the Red Mountain.

"When the Dragonborn Ruler loses his throne, and the White Tower falls" refers to the events of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which leads to the Imperial City being left without a dragonborn ruler and the temporary occupation of the city (with White Tower as its symbol) by Mehrunes Dagon's forces.

"When the Snow Tower lies sundered, kingless, bleeding" refers, of course, to the currents event of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim where Skyrim (with Throat of the World, or Snow Tower, as its symbol) is "sundered" due to civil war, its High King Torryg is killed by Ulfric and the province is essentially bleeding.

Chronologically this makes sense as the events above all happen in a period of less than 250 years as opposed to the time of prophecy which (possibly) dates back to Merethic Era.

I don't understand. How is what you said different from what the last paragraph links to? Be specific. -- kertaw48 09:07, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
Are you sure that the fall of the White Tower is refering to the Oblivion Crisis or may it be a reference to the great war where the Altmeri Dominion actually sack the White Tower. -- Jwelsh1987 18:25, 9 November 2012 (GMT)
The Great War is linked to already in the prophecy with the word "falls". We still need to make an event page for the Red Year and link to it at "trembles". Other than that, the current links are fine. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 03:44, 10 November 2012 (GMT)
Done. Links are fine. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 00:13, 11 November 2012 (GMT)

Multi-line author[edit]

The multi-line author makes citations of the book look a bit weird (see Skyrim:Dovahkiin). Are there any easy solutions to this? --Alfwyn 15:18, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Well, I changed {{Cite book}} to cure this and related cases. --Alfwyn (talk) 15:52, 12 February 2014 (GMT)
