- noun

1. One of the most precious substances in the empire, mainly found in Vvardenfell. Raw ebony itself is an extremely hard, durable, black glass-like substance, said to be the crystallized blood of the gods. It is protected by Imperial law, and may not be mined or exported without an Imperial charter.

1. An attribute that affects how much Fatigue you have, your Health, and how much your Health will increase when you sleep and raise levels

1. A period of time used to arbitrarily divide historical epochs, denoted by Emperors or scholars. See First Era, Second Era, and Third Era.
2. Periods that correspond to the different Cyrodiilic Empires

1. The "Original Spirits." Divine beings that immediately resulted from the interplay of Anu and Padomay. Includes notably both the Aedra and Daedra, as well as beings that do not exist in Mundus such as the Magna Ge and Mnemolia. See Gods by Pantheon.
