| Creature | Description | Game(s) |
|---|---|---|
| Gargoyle | Can be hit with mithril and better weapons. | Daggerfall |
| Ghoul | These undead are the carrion eaters of dungeons, crypts, and other burial places. They feast on human corpses and other rotting flesh. Although they are not intelligent, they have a natural cunning that aids them in finding food. Because of their vile habits, ghouls have a chance of transmitting a disease to those they bite. | Arena |
| Ghost | A moderately powerful undead with some spell casting ability and requires silver or better weapons to be damaged. Known as Ancestor Ghosts in Morrowind. | Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Shadowkey, Oblivion |
| Giant | A tremendously large creature that can deal great amounts of damage to an unwary adventurer. | Daggerfall |
| Giant Rat | Higher levels can quickly dispatch with one swing, but lower levels may wish to use ranged weapons to avoid disease. See also Rat. | Daggerfall |
| Giant Scorpion | Usually refers to common Giant Scorpion found in most arid regions of Tamriel. The bite of the scorpion can paralyze the unsuspecting adventurer so extreme caution is advised. | Daggerfall |
| Giant Spider | The giant spider is a dangerous foe, not only for its damaging attack, but as it can also paralyze its victim so it can feed on them later. | Arena |
| Gloom Wraith | An extremely powerful wraith which can wield swords and project curses that damage Strength and Endurance. Can be harmed only by silver, Daedric and enchanted weapons. Can also be harmed by non-frost based spells and some conjurations. | Oblivion |
| Gnarl | Perhaps the strangest creature of the Shivering Isles, this animated plant can be found roaming almost anywhere on the isles. One of Sheogorath's truly unique creations, the Gnarl has an unusual trait of being able to use magic cast upon it, and harness that power to bolster its own defense. | Shivering Isles |
| Goblin | Goblins are humanoids that are native to Summerset Isle and Akavir. They range in size from three feet to over eight feet tall. Their eyes are yellow and resemble a cat's. The goblin, much like the orc, is found in various types all across Tamriel. Although not terribly skilled in combat, and rarely in magic, goblins can become dangerous in the large numbers in which they are usually found. | Arena, Redguard, Tribunal, Shadowkey, Oblivion |
| Goblin Berserker | A tougher form of Goblin that is often found equipped for close in combat. | Oblivion |
| Goblin Chef | A weak goblin which is poorly suited for combat, but will still attack intruders aggressively. | Oblivion |
| Goblin Handler | A goblin usually found with a trained War Durzog, they are slightly stronger than the average goblin and typically carry Restore Health Potions. | Tribunal |
| Goblin King | Slow, but packs quite a punch. | Redguard |
| Goblin Rat Farmer | A goblin that herds rats as livestock within their lairs. | Oblivion |
| Goblin Sergeant | Shadowkey | |
| Goblin Shaman | A goblin spellcaster that carries potions and can summon zombies. Along with the warchief, is one of the rulers of goblin clan structure. | Oblivion |
| Goblin Skirmisher | A highly aggressive, fairly dangerous goblin warrior. Often possesses archery skills. | Oblivion |
| Goblin War Chief | One of the highest ranking and powerful goblin warriors, often leaders of war parties. | Tribunal, Oblivion |
| Goblin Warlord | Powerful and deadly goblin commanders. | Oblivion |
| Golden Saint | These Daedra appear as half-clad women with golden-hued skin wearing golden armor and a winged helmet. Also known as "Aureals," they are the spawn of Sheogorath and are feared for their combat abilities. They often look down on mortals, and tend to be quick tempered, short of patience, and are quick to deal cruel and harsh punishments. They view all in the Shivering Isles as inferior, and make no effort to hide this in their interactions. | Morrowind, Shivering Isles |
| Golem | Golems are creatures created by those practiced in the arcane arts. They are fashioned from a material to resemble a human form, then animated and set to particular tasks. A Golem is comparable to an Atronach, but was only seen in earlier Elder Scrolls games (i.e., Arena). See specific entries for Ice Golem, Stone Golem, and Iron Golem (in order from weakest to strongest). | Arena |
| Grahl | Known as "ice trolls," these powerful creatures share their mainland counterparts' regeneration and vulnerability to fire, which even hinders the former ability. They are often found in ice caves. | Bloodmoon |
| Greater Bonewalker | A powerful form of revenant found in graves and tombs throughout Morrowind. It is feared for its use of powerful and hideous curses. Resistant to frost, poison, and shock. | Morrowind |
| Grizzly Bear | A powerful animal that can attack not only with its powerful jaws, but with both front paws. Found throughout the wooded areas of Tamriel. | Daggerfall, Bloodmoon |
| Grummite | Grummites are an aquatic humanoid race seen in the Shivering Isles, who often lay eggs in sacs suspended over a body of water. Like the Baliwog, they will regenerate when exposed to water. | Shivering Isles |
| Guar | The primary domesticated herd animal of Morrowind and is not usually aggressive, with the exception of feral Wild Guars. | Morrowind |
