Tamriel:Mournhold
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
Mournhold, the "city of light and magic," is the ancient name for the city of Almalexia, a temple-city on Morrowind's mainland and the capital of that province. The center of the city has retained the name of Mournhold and is divided into four suburbs: Godsreach, the Great Bazaar, Plaza Brindisi Dorom, and of course the Temple, while the Morrowind Royal Palace occupies the epicenter of the four.
Mournhold is the setting of The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal and can be reached by magical transport from Ebonheart in Vvardenfell via Asciene Rane and back by the Argonian Effe-Tei.
