Lord of Wayrest in the late 3rd era, Woodborne laid a trap for King Lysandus of Daggerfall and was successful in murdering him in 3E 403. He had planned a coup against King Eadwyre of Wayrest with the purpose of overthrowing him and proclaiming himself king of Wayrest. However his plans were revealed by an unknown hero, and he was ambushed at his castle Woodborne Hall, during which event he was executed.

Skyrim, under his rule, submits to a fiery reinstatement of the traditional Nordic pantheon. Alessian temples are destroyed, and remnants of its priesthood seek refuge in the Heartland. Also known as Ysmir.
