[edit] Daggerfall

North of the Highest bluffs, south of the moors, west of the hills, and east of the sea is called DAGGERFALL. 110 men, 93 women, 13 children under 8 years of age, 58 cows, 7 bulls, 63 chickens, 11 cocks, 38 hogs live here. -- Book of Life

A city in the southwest of the High Rock province, on the north half of the Iliac Bay and Capital of the namesake region of Daggerfall. Founded in 1E 246 by invading Nords from Skyrim who brought a rough sort of civilization with them. The order Knights of the Dragon have the official duty of protecting the city and royal family of Daggerfall. The last census, in the year 3E 401, lists the population at over 110,000.

[edit] Dagon Fel

Dagon Fel is the northernmost town in Vvardenfell, situated on the island of Sheogorad. It is home to several Nord fishermen, one or two imperial guards who had the misfortune to be assigned here and not much else. There's a tiny inn with warm beds and a few traders, but they don't have much money to buy things from you. At most, the average traveler will probably only pass through Dagon Fel on his way to or from a quest, or on a connecting boat during fast travel, and find no reason to stay. To tell the truth, the most interesting things in Dagon Fel are the two Dwemer towers outside the city. The southernmost is inhabited by a Necromancer and a few of his followers and the northern one is home to an Orc who maintains he fights best in his skivvies.

[edit] Dawnstar

A garrison town on the northern coast of Skyrim, Dawnstar is the setting for the game of the same name.

It was after the destruction of a fortress in Dawnstar during the 283rd year of the second era that Potentate Versidue-Shaie declared martial law, leading to one of the most brutal and bloody periods in the history of Tamriel.

[edit] Deshann Plain

The Deshann Plain is a fertile area in southern Morrowind, which merges with the swamps of Black Marsh further south. It borders the Valus Mountains to the west and the banks of Thir River to the east, where the Hlaalu city of Narsis is situated.

[edit] Direnni Tower

The Direnni Tower is a tall, circular and ancient tower on the Isle of Balferia in the Iliac Bay. The Tower was used as a fortress, prison, and palace by the Direnni Hegemony but its true purpose has remained a mystery. The latest magical divination of its age places its construction around ME 2500, making it the oldest known structure in Tamriel. The tower has been modified several times over the years, but the cylindrical core of metal has not been touched and is rumored to extend as far into the ground as it does protrude above it but its depths have never been thoroughly explored.

[edit] Diss

Diss is a major city on the western coast of Valenwood.

[edit] Dragonstar

A town in Hammerfell, just south of the border with High Rock and Skyrim.

[edit] Dragontail Mountains

[edit] Dren Plantation

Dren Plantation is a large House Hlaalu farm in the Ascadian Isles region, north of Vivec. It is owned and run by the Duke's brother Orvas Dren, who is head of the Camonna Tong. It is inhabited by Guards, both Dunmer and Nord, netch breeders, mostly Imperial, and slaves, who are all either Khajiit or Argonian.
