This template is designed to create links to category pages, but without placing the page they're used on into the category. It takes 1 or 2 parameters. The first is the name of the category page you want to link to (minus the "Category:" part), and the second is an optional parameter to change the text that displays in the link. If omitted, the first parameter will be used.
