Better Bodies has been an ongoing project since February 2003 dedicated to replacing the original segmented models of Morrowind with fully deformable, continuous bodies. The BB team's goal was to make a body mod that a modder could easily make clothing for, and that also looked more realistic than the models that come with the game.

Notes
  • Better Bodies portrays realistic nude human (and elf and orc) bodies. For those who would prefer it, a permanent underwear version is available for all races.

[edit] Bodies

Better Bodies 2.2
This is version 2.2 of Better Bodies. It replaces both the males and the females of all eight humanoid races in Morrowind. You do not need to have Tribunal or Bloodmoon installed to use Better Bodies. The meshes are now in their final states.
  • New in version 2.2:
    • Erstam's seamless fix, which prevents seams between body parts from being visible under certain lighting conditions
    • Fixed the hole in the armpit that some people were complaining about
    • Improved textures for all races
  • New in version 2.1:
    • Bug fixes.
    • Improved textures for first-person hands
    • Many vertex weighting mistakes were fixed which caused clipping with various clothing mods
    • Replaced the entire model for the third-person hands. It's better looking now and doesn't have that "claw" look anymore.

Cleaned and tested, this is a small plugin that highlights a new armor/outfit, made specifically for the drow, which can be found inside an abandoned drow cave. It is optional, but this cave is intended that it be used as an underground home. To get there, search an ancestral tomb near the Telasero Dunmer stronghold ruin. Search the drow cave thoroughly as you may miss some nice items. You've been warned, so don't contact me for hints.

This plugin adds 8 new dresses to the game. These dresses are inspired by modern sleek evening gown styles. Most of the gowns are decorated to give the illusion of being made of silk. The dresses can be bought from Verara Rendo, Suran's resident clothier. When you drop the dresses on the ground, you will see the sewing pattern. Don't worry, you'll equip them right and the icons and names will still tell you which one's which.

Over the course of the past year or so, not one week has gone by where I have not received an email by a kind person asking me to make more color variants on a short silk dress I originally did for Korana's Closet (also included in the Meadow Fae in a white color with snowflakes). Over the course of a year I did make different colors now and then.....and I decided it was time to collect all the files and release them. There are 13 colors on the dress....ranging from metallic, to neutral, to bright. There are also 2 pairs of boots (which will look familiar as they are also in Falconer Leather and the Peasant Gown shops). You can buy all the dresses in a small shop located on the outskirts of Dagon Fel.

  • Description: Just on the northern outskirts of Vos, a reclusive pale-skinned Altmer by the name of Mr Lee has opened a little shop that caters for gentlemen of a darker persuasion. Named after his pet guar, Nigel, The Black Guar sells a large range of goth style clothing for men only, from fetish-wear to stylish trenchcoats. Mr Lee also sells an exclusive range of snakeskin separates that mix'n'match. He also has a selection of paintings in two sizes, all of my vampire characters and a few shiny knick-knacks for sale. As the enigmatic Mr Lee is a vampire catering specifically for vampires, it makes sense that he only opens at night; the shop is closed during the day and the lock is unpickable. Despite his vampirism, he is happy to sell to any customers, mortal or vampire - he doesn't even care what clan the vampiric customer is. Money is money, after all! *Please note: some of the stuff sold in the shop is of a fetish nature that reveals more than it covers!*
Slof's Goth Shop for Men - Add-On

All the paintings sold in the shop are now just one size - the new script has a lot more options, including the ability to scale them up or down to suit where the player wants to hang them. Hopefully this new script is free of the bug some players have reported, where the paintings would have moved when starting a new game. I'm no scripter, and had no idea where the bug was or how to fix it, so I'm trying a different one.

Christopher Lee is now a unique race (non-playable), with his own textures. His face is based roughly on a pic of a very young real Chistopher Lee as Dracula. Mr Lee is one of my greatest heroes of the silver screen, and this mod is kind of a tribute to him. The changes don't affect any other high elf vampires.

Some of the clothing is very revealing and designed to be fun fetish wear. I advise caution when buying clothing - some of it reveals a lot more than it covers! Some of it will fit female characters, but much of it won't. I make clothing for males mostly! All the boots, shoes, gloves,wigs, necklaces, collars, loincloths, skirts, and some pants, will work with female characters, shirts, coats, robes, tattoos and piercings won't.

I've replaced the rotating crystal knot with a puzzle box based on the one in the Hellraiser movies. Lee also sells three of these, but unlike the rest of his stuff, they don't respawn in his inventory. They don't do anything weird like sending you to Hell, they are just ornamental!

The fishnet pants are now buyable - I forgot to include them in his stock the first time around! I've also updated some meshes and textures, so allow these to overwrite when it asks. *Please note: some of the stuff sold in the shop is of a fetish nature that reveals more than it covers!*

I know where it is, but not how to sort it, so instead I came up with a workaround. Qarl very kindly altered the painting mesh so it stands upright when dropped, meaning that in most cases, they will no longer need to be rotated, thus avoiding the bug!

The hat has now been replaced by a new one made specially for the mod by Smight Plight, and like the other one, it doesn't replace the hair, which saves on lots of textures and racial scripting. NioLiv's Mesh Collection
Not a mod, but an untextured mesh resource. The set includes three shirt meshes for both male and female characters. For female characters only this pack also offers two long dresses in a few variations, two long skirts, a pair of tights, a bodysuit, two pairs of sleeves, a pair of long gloves as well as thigh high boots and knee high turned down boots, each with three options for the shape of the foot.
