Quick Walkthrough

1. Pick up a soul gem from Gindaman.
2. Take it to Absolon in the Firewatch Library.
3. Return to Gindaman for your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough

Your first task from Gindaman is a simple one. He has a unique soul gem, containing the soul of a summoned Herne. It was previously considered impossible to summon such creatures, and he wants you to take the gem to Absolon so he can investigate how such a thing might be achieved.

Absolon is found in the Lecture Hall of Firewatch Library and will gladly take the gem from you.

Return to Gindaman for a reward of 100 gold, and a +3 Mages Guild reputation bump.

Notes

• Members of the Thieves Guild may know somebody else interested in obtaining the gem.

31		I told Gindaman that the soul gem was "stolen by a member of the Thieves Guild". Which is true, in some respects...
