Detailed Walkthrough

Three Items

Mouth Areth Morvayn has another task for you. He hands you a note and three Scrolls of Weakness to Plague and tells you to take them, along with some rat blood, to one of Mistress Eldale's agents, Tevernes Llenesis in Llothanis. He tells you that the blood can be obtained from Rantela Irenam, who can be found in her manor on the skyway in eastern Port Telvannis. He also hints that you might want to stay around after you make the delivery to see what happens.

The Delivery

You will need to buy the Plague Rat Blood from Rantela Irenam and then it's time to head to Llothanis. The easiest way is to take the River Strider straight there, and then head for the Water's Shadow Tavern on the west side of town. When you hand the items over to Llenesis, he will tell you that he is to deliver them to Bal Gernak, who will be eager to hear of developments. Before he can go anywhere, however, one of the guards confronts Llenesis and kills him before thanking you.

A Twist

Head back to Port Telvannis to report the scheme's failure to Areth Morvayn... except it turns out not to be a failure at all. Morvayn tells you that everything went as intended and that a warning has been delivered. He rewards you with 275 gold and three House Telvanni reputation points.

10		Mouth Areth Morvayn has given me a note and three scrolls of weakness to common disease. He asked that I obtain a vial of plague rat blood from Rantela Irenam, here in Port Telvannis. I am to deliver the rat blood, three scrolls, and note to Tevernes Llenesis, an agent of Mistress Eldale, who can be found at the Water's Shadow Tavern in Llothanis. Then, strangely, I've been instructed to watch carefully and not interfere.
20		The plague rat blood, scrolls, and note have been delivered. Shortly after making the delivery a guard confronted Eldale's agent and slew him. Then the guard thanked me... I have to report this failure to Areth Morvayn.
100		When I reported the failure of the plot in Llothanis to Areth Morvayn, he responded that everything had gone precisely as intended. He claimed a warning had been delivered and hoped that it would be heeded.
