Would it be OK to add an unofficial bug fix section similar to what is done for Oblivion? I am thinking of the following:

Quote: "The Unofficial Morrowind Patch (UMP) fixes almost all of the bugs and problems with Morrowind and its expansions. While the official patches by Bethesda only fixed a couple of dozen bugs, this patch fixes several hundred. The goal of this patch is to make the game completely bug-free (within the abilities of the TESCS)." [1]

The UMP is highly regarded in the community, and fixes a lot of annoyances. I think it would be a great addition to Tes3Mod. There is no contact info given on the site, not sure what needs to be done to get permission. Any thoughts?-- BenouldTC 08:00, 30 March 2008 (EDT)

Extensive mod questions[edit]

If someone wants to do an extensive and deep-rooted in the system mod, eg adding races, what tools etc. would they use? I notice no information is included here for racial mods. 216.82.142.13 19:11, 10 June 2009 (EDT)

The Construction Set of the game is almost imperative. Unfortunately, its not the focus of UESP to teach people how to mod, so I'm afraid you'll have to try somewhere else for more information. --Darth NANAME 00:06, 11 June 2009 (EDT)
What other tools would be necessary for something addressing that part of the game (races)? 32.157.172.213 00:15, 11 June 2009 (EDT)

Morrowind.exe[edit]

There seem to be a decent number of mods and patches that modify Morrowind.exe such as the Morrowind Code Patch and timeslip's exe optimizer and i was wondering if these where compatible or should be installed in a certain order. Was also wondering about their compatibility with MWSE and Morrowind Graphics Extender. Sigil 22:44, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

orphanned pages[edit]

I hate to bother you nice people, but could someone mark the numerous orphanned pages with {{proposeddeletion}}? If not, could someone actually link to (or include) those pages? --Uniblab 05:12, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Mod Help[edit]

I need help downloading mods like better bodies. When i download it it doesnt show up on the data files screen thing. I looked in the morrowind/bethesda folder and saw the better bodies file, but it doesnt work. Does anybody have an idea what I did wrong in downloading it? -- JesseB 18:09, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

There's an extra file you need to run before it'll work. Check out the readme file and follow the details in there. rpeh •TCE 18:39, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

For some other reason i don't have the readme. It didnt come with the stuff i downloaded. Could you tell me what it says, or how to run the extra file? --JesseB 20:02, 6 September 2010 (UTC) To be more specific I followed the link above to download the installer version. When I did, i installed it and got "Better Bodies.esp" and another "Better Bodies" files. The second is a note telling me what the better bodies thing is and the features, but it doesn't mention any extra step to setting up the mod. --JesseB 20:19, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Sorry... the file seems to have changed since I downloaded it. You're on your own. There's definitely a readme though - start with that. rpeh •TCE 06:31, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Morrowind 2011[edit]

I'm wondering if we should set up a section somewhere in the Mods category regarding the controversial Morrowind 2011 package. That's mentionable, right? 67.117.29.104 21:00, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

What's to say? It was a mod package released with good intentions but done without permission, so it annoyed a lot of people. Since a lot of the modders involved didn't like it, I'd rather not publicise it. rpeh •TCE 21:13, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
It's just a compilation. People who make those typically don't care about the individual modders (a minor note in a credits file is not a proper acknowledgement); when directly asked what individual mods do in the compilation the creators often do not know, the Real Modders are reduced to just a list of names. People just do not understand it now-a-days, it's all about their own "creation" rather than the respect of others.173.171.224.117 02:45, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
