Where can I get it[edit]

Where does one find this patch? 68.252.133.152 08:01, 6 February 2009 (EST)

Just search at bethsoft.com/bgsforums, term "Repairing Cogs" or something. Actually, just click here.—Moonraker0 21:00, 6 March 2009 (EST)

High level items at the start[edit]

whats with the high end items at the beginning 1Million gold, glass helm, 3 ebony shortswords really I was only after mercantile bug and the enchant bug most of those other bugs i did not even know existed. I would trade the map bug fix for those others if I could

I don't use damage attribute or be a vampire. the patch gives you high end loot at the beginning town. why?Mrp8196 20:14, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Sorry... that's incomprehensible. Please can you reword your query? If it's even a query. rpeh •TCE 12:37, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
I think he means the testing chamber in Seyda Neen. Could probably have put the hatch somewhere a little more discrete instead of in the middle of town. But really, if you don't want to use those things, don't. 95.109.102.252 16:26, 19 December 2012 (GMT)
Mod testing areas should be accesible only by cheating/tcl not from within the gameplay — Unsigned comment by 212.109.27.176 (talk) at 01:30 on 2 April 2013
We have no control over the actual content of the patch. Jeancey (talk) 22:33, 10 April 2013 (GMT)

clarification[edit]

is the enchanting over nerfed? i wish the options were split into 2 separate tickboxes

is enchanting arrows going to show up with npc using them too or just me?

if i hide the traps is there any visual(or other) clue to find them myself or do i have to assume everything is a trap? too bad there isn't an option to set the traps hidden below a certain security level

Shortcut Keys[edit]

I don't know if anyone still checks this page, but does anyone have a problem with the shortcut key improvements not working like they say they're supposed to in the code patch? In the description it says it's supposed to change the inventory management keys so that shift-clicking opens the quantity box and just clicking picks up a whole stack, but it doesn't seem to work. Instead shift-clicking picks up a whole stack and clicking opens the quantity box, which is the default. Ether rogue (talk) 01:43, 28 December 2014 (GMT)

It never worked for me either. —Legoless (talk) 18:30, 28 December 2014 (GMT)

Is it possible to use Code Patch Project without Bloodmoon expansion?[edit]

I don’t have the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind and was wondering if there is any way I can use the Code Patch Project without it. I only really want it to fix the pickpocketing problem as it is really annoying however I have noticed the patch also contains a lot of other useful things that would make the game better. So, is there any way to use it without Bloodmoon? — Unsigned comment by LethalBeauty (talkcontribs) at 15:33 on 2 April 2015

Dead Link[edit]

The link to the forum topic was dead so I replaced it with a wwayback machine link. Hopefully it works properly. 110.141.149.88 08:10, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
