  • hidden
  • Actor is known or is suspected to be a monster (daedra, lich, vampire, werewolf, etc.), i.e., not necessarily evil, but a dangerous creature to be killed. At lowest rank is only slightly suspected to be a monster. Up to rank 5 which equates to known monster, kill on sight for guardsmen and responsible npcs.
  • Ranks
    • 0: Suspected by some
    • 5: Known. Kill on site all guards and responsible citizens.

These [Moster and Outlaw] look really good! We should move them to proposed. What about other past suggestions like "NoAttack" (or some sort of "safe traveler")? I've also found many occasions where it's very useful to distinguish bosses by giving them a special faction. Another set that might be very useful would be something like the OOO ArmorDisposition factions, which are used to tell whether an NPC should react in a positive or negative way based on the clothes or armor the player is wearing. If we get the ArmorDisposition bugs worked out, then I will suggest something like this. --Dev akm 13:36, 1 November 2007 (EDT)

I think that NoAttack and SafeTraveller are already in -- (though I need to review and maybe rename them to new naming standards -- which I'm working out as I go). As for other factions, go ahead and list them here following same format. If they're mod specific, please note that. Same thing with boss factions. --Wrye 19:37, 1 November 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Outlaw

  • hidden
  • Actor is known or is suspected to be an outlaw. At higher ranks (5) is considered to be kill on sight by guardsment and responsible townspeople. Evil characters aren't bothered by this.
  • Ranks
    • 0: Suspected by some
    • 5: Known. Kill on site all guards and responsible citizens.
