- Allow Any Spell Enchantments
One thing that I think really sucks about the current implementation of Enchanting is that you cannot use any spells you can't actually cast. I understand why this was added, but it's really annoying to be a level 35 badass who can't put a simple Soul Trap on a sword. Perhaps an NPC could be added that could enchant with any spell, but would charge like 5X for the service?
- Tone Down Ragdoll
I know it would take a lot of work and it’s a lot to ask, but someone has to say it (I know we’re all thinking it): the Ragdoll physics in this game are ridiculous. An arrow to the head and a combat dummy succumbs to a five-minute long seizure. Jump onto a table and everything on it instantly flies into the air. It’s good to have realistic physics in the game, but I think Oblivion takes it too far.
- I agree, spending forever battling with the stupid grab feature to set up an alchemy set or meal on a table, sitting down at it, standing up again and watching everything go *PING* and fly around the room as if possessed by an epileptic poltergeist is rather (read excruciatingly) annoying.
- Race Creator
I'd like a mod where you can create a race with the standard 320 allottable attribute points(0-100), gender(of course), 1 greater power (any possible combination of any vanilla oblivion spell effects limited to: 6 effects, 0-100 magnitude on any given effect, 120 secs on any given effect, equivalent base cost at spell altar may not exceed 6×Base Intelligence), 1 lesser power(same rules as greater powers, except equivalent base cost at spell altar may not exceed Base Intelligence with a "bargain factor" of .75), ear leghth slider, beard styles(male), breast size slider(female), height, weight, skin base tone, tail option, up to a total 100 positive points of constant effect resistances to fire/frost/shock/magic/poison/disease/normal weapons and/or fortify health/magicka/fatigue (-100to100)(negative points=weaknesses(or)damage=subtract from positive total(just to be clear)), and the standard bonus 45 levels to any combination of skills (0-45). In other words, all the basic stuff you'd want integrated into the vanilla race generator.
- This mod: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=4077 will sort of do this...
