Summon Army spells

It would be cool to have spells that summon an army like: apprentice to summon 10 trolls, expert to summon 20 ghosts, and master to summon 20 dremora, and special planes where you have to face off another army that's trying to kill every1 in a small uncharted town.

More Spell Graphics

Ever wondered why simple fire magic "Flare" has the same effect as the highest level "Immolation" which is about 15x stronger? It would be great to allow the same size-scaling that functions for cold spells for fire and lightning spells. More magicka, the bigger fireball or longer lightning. Also some combination of spell effects could result in more colorful graphics. For example lightning with secondary fire effect (i.e.: on target 70 light damage for 1 sec., 1 fire damage for 20 sec.) could be more like red lightning while the same with secondary freeze damage could be more white or something. The best solution would be a special menu during spellmaking that would allow the player to choose from all possible effects (of course there could be strange combinations as fireball with just cold damage but it is up to the player) and, if possible, some scaling for size of the projectile and perhaps the color changer (for red lightning, green fire and all this cool wizard stuff). Just let the magic be more colorful as it should be!

Morphing

A new type spell that would enable your character to change his or her body into a creature that they've have trapped, for a short time of course. When your character would soul trap a monster, he or she could abuse its abilities and use them to kill your opponents. (I.E, using a minotaur would increase your strength ten fold as well as your form, but would effect your spells and intelligence dramatically. Or use a rat, to shrink and fit into smaller places, which would make stealing and getting out a lot easier.) Lastly, if your character is a high enough level in alteration, or which college that it was in, you could make your character into a monster for as much time as you please, and change back when you see fit.Comment:I agree that I't would be very nice with some more sanctuaries.

  • Another option would be to be able to morph into the shape of another person so people think that you are that person
Melee combat type spells (disarm, knockdown etc.)

Several spells which can disarm your opponent, unarmour (bit like disarm except it just flings their armor/robes onto the ground), knockdown and fist enchanting (temporary spell which adds an effect to H2H hits, not actually a permanent enchantment like on equip.) e.g. fire dmg "x" on hand to hand strike for 30 seconds.

Summon Spells

You know, for non undead or daedra creatures. Like a summon spells for mythic beasts like minotaurs, spriggans and imps. Hell, even spells for ordinary wilderness creatures like bears and lions. Even a summon mudcrab spell would be good for a laugh.

  • The Summon Unicorn mod adds a summon unicorn spell.
  • The "Spell Tomes" official mod adds a "Summon Bear" spell effect.
Repeal The Levitation Act
Time Travel Spells

If you get attacked/ambushed you could cast a spell that took you 5 minutes into the past so you could kick ass with yourself or if somebody in the city dies you could go back in time and prevent their death.

Divine Magic

A new sort of spell. There are greater powers and lesser powers well this mod would implement divine powers that you can get by doing 3 quests for one of the nine divines. It would also add a new faction called Worshippers of the nine within you can choose 3 divines for whom you can do quests and get there divine powers. The faction ranks would be: Initiate (Join), Priest (1 God), High Priest (3 God's), Blessed One (2 God's + 1 God Complete)

You would first have to start by talking to some kind of high priest or such and he would tell you some stuff and then you could pray to a god first do a quest to convince the divine to talk to you then one to gain his trust and finally one to gain his favor. If you gain his favor you would get the god's greater power. With one of the three god's you could choose to do a ritual after gaining his favor making him your primary god and to gain something better then a greater power a "Divine power". Finally a divine power would be based on favor level you could do something for the your primary god and he would give you favor for it and if your favor were to reach 100% you could cast the power once and it would be the ultimate FORCE. P.S.:every god would have it's own divine power attributed to that god.(I Finished the idea of the greater and divine powers for more precise info contact One On One)

Object fastening

A spell enabling you to when cast upon an object freezing it in place and un up pickable till you use the spell on it again. Why do you want this spell? Well when decorating your house it is always very difficult however if you could freeze objects in time it would be easy. + building your own house out of bricks would be much easier.

Lock Mark and Recall

These Morrowind spells rock

Petrify

It would be cool if there was a petrify spell in the school of illusion or alteration and it would turn someone into stone. They wouldn't be able to move and the player would have to cast dispel or a cure spell and if the player is petrified they would have to have a cure or dispel potion or load back.

More Spell Effect Types

I would love to see spells that could cast multiple spell projectiles, or tracking projectiles, or if you could alter a projectile's speed in spell creation. So you could, for instance, set a spell that casts a fire-damage spell for 100 damage with 10 projectiles, so each projectile does 10 damage; kind of a magic shotgun effect. Or a fireball that seeks the target closest to the center of the screen.

Damage type specific spell effects

Namely, I'd like to see hitscan lightning (instantly strike) without effecting the speed of everything else. It would also be cool to see Ice damage freeze your opponents if you do more than double their starting hit points in damage (if something has 10 hits, and you do 20 damage, they get frozen).

Sonic Boom Spells

i'd love to see some of those spells where someone is walking along casts the spell and everyone within 10 feet goes flying through the air. it would be so fun during a war to make everyone around you fling into the air around you. it would have to be a greater power because if it was a spell then it would be able to be used repetitively and would suck all of the fun out of it.

Different styles of spell targeting

Ever get annoyed when your enemy manages to sidestep your target spell or your enemy is too far away to use a touch spell? Well how about a 'wave' targeting system where if you cast it, it will act just like the ripples in water; travelling until it hits something (or someone). Also a 'mine' or 'bomb' style targeting where you can 'plant' a summoned mine and either detonate it yourself with a target spell or wait for it to be proximity triggered.

More summoned creatures

what i liked about summoning in morrowind was you could summon more than one creature (you could'nt summon two of the same ceature though) you could have summoned a small army in oblivion you only get one sad creature why not add something that could let you have like 10 diffrent creatures.

Silence Spell that renders the target unable to speak

I would love the extra dimension added to assassinating and stealing if you could actually silence a person with the silence spell. Being able to cut off their voice and leaving them unable to call for the guards or any other person, would add a new depth and strategy to taking the stealthy path. This would mean unless, they were able to escape and run to another person, there would be no way for them to report your crimes.

Shell Spells

I would be overjoyed to find somebody who could create spells that are like the Shock Shell in BioShock. A spell that covers you with a thin film of a certain element and anybody who melees you gets a good zap or a bolt of fire to the face. This would make it possible to control fights with multiple melee creatures. This wouldn't constantly drain mana, and would toggle on/off, but only 1 effect at a time.

Planeswalking

This is similar to the powers that powerful wizards have in Magic: The Gathering. In Oblivion it caould take you to a plane of oblivion or a whole new world with different people and stuff, but it would take Epic amounts of magika to use and there might be drawbacks but it's just an idea.

Summon House

What if you could summon a weird magical house that was sort of like a tiny separate plane of Oblivion (only nicer than the ones you visit normally), you would be able to summon it anywhere there was room (or maybe if their wasn't, bits of the house would temporarily disappear) and it would stay there for say, a week or until you next used the spell. It should probably be either a Greater Power or cost loads of Magicka and obviously you would have to do a really hard quest to get it.

Mischief Spells

It would be cool if you could get 'mischief spells' like Cabbage-Head, Summon Floating Chair or Watermelon Shower that would irritate your targets (lowering their disposition) but not cause any real damage. Maybe they would cause a big disturbance and townsfolk and guards would come to find out what was going on, this would mean that stealth types could create a distraction. Just an idea.

Race-Changing

It would be cool if you could get scrolls and/or spells to temporarily change your character's race or maybe gender. The first time you used it you would have to decide what it looked like and whenever you used it you would go back to that form.

Repair and Recharge Equipment

It would be cool if there were spells that let you repair your armor without hammers (like the Disintegrate spells, but in reverse) and maybe higher-cost spell that let you recharge your enchanted weapons. We have magical alternatives to lockpicks; it shouldn't be too illogical to have a replacement for Repair Hammers as well.

Castable Vampirism

See, now if you could inflict Vampirism on another person, and have them become a vampire, that'd be fun. Then again, does the script not effect NPC's?

Necromantic Spells

Spells like Necrosis, that can turn enemies to bone at its highest level, bring back the revive spells, perhaps the ability to summon permanent followers.

Improved Spellmaking

It would be nice to be able to set a spell's duration to zero, and also maybe have another slider which multiplies the spell's power. A multiplier range of 1-10 would allow the player to create a spell of any power except prime numbers over 100, up to 1000. An instant-effect heal of 400 points would be great. Unsure how possible this is, of course. Just sort of limiting how you can buy spells of Fire Damage 110 points but have to make them last more than 1 second to get the same damage output.
