Drunk Tom Albin indulging in his favorite pastime just outside Polle Gold Mine

Drunk Tom Albin is an Imperial Pauper working as a guard at Polle Gold Mine. Even if he is almost always inhibited, he won't fail to pass on to you a great deal of rumors, which will in turn lead to a series of quests unfolding.

When first met, his level of intoxication will be obvious: "Hey there! They call me Drunk Tom. No idea why. *hiccup* Anything you want to know, I'll tell ya. Unless I don't know it." When asked about Stirk he will say: "Pretty island. Don't *hiccup* know much about it, but I can tell you anything you want about the mine." Selecting the new 'Polle Gold Mine' topic will net you: "Not that bad a place for a gate watcher and what not, not so sure about the miners though". Asking him about 'Miners' will make him tell you: "Loads of them are angry at Mr. Polle. Then there's Winston, who's been very sad lately. Oh, am I heard Samalt found something strange in the mine." The new 'Sad Miner' topic will cause him to say: "Yeah, really depressed. I don't know what about, I'd talk to Winston about it." This will add the Abandoned Miner quest to your journal.
