This page provides a load order guide for mods based on Wrye Bash's Balo auto-load ordering feature. In Balo, mods are divided into groups which are ordered relative to each other, but within groups, order is strightly alphabetical. When alphabetical sorting is not sufficient for a given mod, then one or more mods are moved to offset groups (e.g. Overhaul-1, Overhaul+1, etc.).

Note that since esm files ("masters") automatically load before esps, they are not shown first here! Instead they are listed by the Balo group that they're assigned to.

Oblivion.esm and a very few other root esms/esps that will sort correctly.

Mods that tweak existing aspects of gameplay. Tweaks are differentiated from overhauls by focussing on one specific factor of gameplay (e.g. Vampirism).
