[edit] About Me

Male, 1971 vintage. Part Irish, part Scottish, part English, all Geek.

Located in England, in the heart of the National Forest. Specifically, South Derbyshire.

IT Guru by trade, linguist by persuasion.

[edit] My Knowledge

Having played Morrowind to death, I would consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the game. Less so about the two expansions - I've only completed Tribunal three times and Bloodmoon once. I'm not that well versed on the Thieves Guild or Morag Tong questline either, as I usually play warrior mages.

I've got Oblivion, as well as all of the DLCs and Shivering Isles, but I've only managed to complete the Main Quests once so far, so I'm not what you would call an expert.

I've also played Arena and Daggerfall, but not managed to complete either due to bugs. That was a long time ago, though.

[edit] My Machine

Three years ago, my aging PC keeled over and died. I got a high-spec replacement, which died after 11 months. It took a month to fix (fortunately it was still under warranty), including being sent back to base three times. That machine recently started to misbehave again - it wouldn't read certain DVDs, including the Oblivion one. So I got an iMac.

It's got a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of memory, and a 20-inch widescreen display. The graphics card is a Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory, which is perfectly capable of running Oblivion at full whack. I run Leopard, with Windows XP Home running under Boot Camp for gaming purposes.
