Morrowind:Hortator[edit]

Why exactly was the article redundant? There isn't a lore:Hortator page.

It's most likely because all the information is already listed on this page. Did that help? Kitkat xxx TalkContribE-mail 17:56, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Not really. I mean I've played Morrowind and knew about the roles of a Hortator and the Nerevarine, I just thought that there would be a bit more information about the role of a Hortator since a Hortator and the Nerevaine are two different roles.
The page was deleted because it was a total waste of time. Its contents at the time of deletion were: "The Hortator is the war leader of the great houses, House Hlaalu,Telvanni and Redoran, during the main quest you will become their Hortator, recieving at the end the Robe,Ring and Belt of the Hortator, it is the counterpart to the Nerevarine of the ashlander tribes, but are linked by the Nerevarine Prophecy, it is common for the player to be refered to as "Hortator and Nerevarine", particularily by Azura at the end of the main quest, see the pages on Hlaalu Hortator, Telvanni Hortator and Redoran Hortator." That's totally unnecessary given the house-specific quest pages. A Lore:Hortator page might be worth creating, but it needs to be far more informative than that one was. rpeh •TCE 17:06, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
Actually, Morrowind:Nerevarine refers to Nerevarine the Incarnate, not Nerevarine of the Ashlanders. Thus, Hortator of the Great Houses is unneeded. I've never actually thought that the Nerevarine the Incarnate is the same as the Nerevarine of the Ashlanders.

LoS[edit]

Are you going to be here to help with Lord of Souls? I was just thinking about it and you (and then you creepily edited...), and I was wondering if you would do a good chunk of it like TIC. If not, then I will buy the book this week. Thanks GK! Elliot (talk) 02:40, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

I'm definitely gonna buy it Tuesday, and was planning on doing a good bit of work on the pages... but don't let that stop you! --GKtalk2me 02:47, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
Do you have a copy yet? It looks like there's a delay on this side of the Pond - Amazon aren't even going to ship my copy until tomorrow :/ rpeh •TCE 15:27, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Yep, I picked it up Tuesday... I've got a lot of hand-written notes I took while reading at work; gotta transfer those over to the wiki (hence my less-than-standard sandboxes). --GKtalk2me 15:54, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Good - I was a bit worried there had been some kind of problem. I'll jump in when I can but it looks like I won't be in a position to help for about a week. rpeh •TCE 16:14, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Cloud Ruler Temple edit undone[edit]

Why was my edit removed? I was simply adding to the page with new info from Skyrim. Cloud Ruler Temple was destroyed. It was destroyed by the Thalmor. I can provide sources, if you want. Draevan13 05:34, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

It was removed because it was unrelated to Oblivion, and the edit was made to the Oblivion namespace version of the article. It's perfectly fine on the Lore article, where you put it last. --GKtalk2me 13:30, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
