[edit] Oblivion Collection List
(Shalley303's Sandbox) This page is incomplete and under development
A big part of the fun I had playing Morrowind and Oblivion was collecting items throughout the game, and putting them on display in my house. I would collect all of the sets of armor, weapon sets, and unique items. When I started up Oblivion for a second time I decided to make a checklist of items I wanted to obtain throughout the game. I found that this information is spread out over several places on this site, and wanted to merge all the data into one area where people could print something out, or paste the info into a spreadsheet. This information is only intended to provide a checklist of items to obtain, and not to provide any information about the objects themselves. For information about each item (rating, damage, value, etc..) please see the main entry for each item.
The plugins listed are for official Bethesda plugins only. If no plugin is listed then it is part of the main game. The name used is the one listed on the Official Mods page.
Some items have too many locations to list, and in those instances I will only list the easiest locations to get to.
[edit] Normal Items
This only includes non-enchanted armor and weapons.
See the page Leveled List Info for information on obtaining leveled items. Anything on this list that is marked as a level item is only available in the game as random loot, and cannot be obtained by finding a static copy. The only way you will be able to collect these items is by finding them on dead corpses, containers, or in shops.
If an item is listed as a lower level threshold than your current level there is still a chance you can find it. As you level the leveled loot list grows and your chances of finding lower leveled items decreases, but you will still run into those items from time to time. Your best option for collecting a leveled item is by obtaining it at the leveled threshold. Vendors will not have any leveled items greater than Mithril and Orcish.

- Please see the wiki page on Guard Uniforms for information on obtaining Guard Armor. There is no reason for me to repeat the already great and useful information on that page.
- Please see the discussion page for special information on Kvatch armor for players just starting a new character.
- If you like roll playing and are, or want to be, a member of the Dark Brotherhood, then you can make it a personal quest to assassinate one guard from each city and collect their armor as a trophy.

[edit] Unique Items
These are only items that you can obtain in the game and keep in your collection. Any unique item that is destroyed, removed from the game or relocated as part of a quest, will not be listed here since you cannot 'collect' it (Elder Scroll). Items which are normally destroyed or removed but can be kept will be listed here (Boots of Springheel Jak, Staff of the Everscamp). This list does not include items which cannot be obtained without PC mods since I want this list to be complete for console users. Some of these items are not unique, and some are not enchanted. Some items you can obtain an infinite number of times (Black Bow), and others have a limited but multiple amount (Goblin Totem Staff). In addition to the items on this list I will also collect any Multiple Enchantment items I come across. The items on this list that fall into those categories are just special weapons, armor, and clothing that I felt the desire to keep at least one copy of in my collection. I didn't want to group these items into the normal items section since they do not belong to any particular item set. I will list the point at which you get to keep an item rather than the point at which you obtain the item.
If you do not see an item listed here please consider the following before adding it.
- Can I keep the item, or obtain the item again, after completing the quest it is involved in?
- Can I obtain the item without the use of console commands or unofficial mods?
- Is the item part of an official mod that Xbox 360 or PS3 users can obtain?
If the answer is yes to all three questions, and the item is not listed here, please feel free to add it with information on how to obtain it, and a link to the item's main page.
Anything that is marked as a Leveled item in this list means that the enchantment changes depending on your level. You should see the main page for each item to see what effects are listed for each level. Generally leveled items will increase their effects every five levels. The max level for an item depends on the item, but there aren't any leveled items greater then level 30 in the main game.
Anything that is marked as a Quest item in this list means that you will be able to keep the item, but that you will never be able to remove it from your inventory (except PC users). The item will always have zero weight so collecting it only means that it will clutter up your personal inventory.
Anything that is marked as a Merchant item in this list means that you need to buy the item from the listed NPC. In most cases you will need a mercantile skill of 50 in order to see the item for sale.
[edit] Special Items
These are items that are not armor, weapons, or enchanted clothing that I wanted to add to my collection. Most of these items are not unique, and some of them are not even that rare. This section is more or less a preference of what you feel makes your collection complete.

- The books listed are ones which I consider there to be a rare number of, or special in some way.
- Not all locations for some books are listed because the locations are quest related or remote, and there are easier places to find them.
- Just for fun I collect all the flawless gems and nuggets, and sell anything else. Locations are not worth listing as you're bound to run into many of these over the course of normal game play.
