Hello?

We don't normally "welcome" anon editors, but you seem to need it[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! --rpeh •TCE 19:47, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

How do you use the edit summary!!!!!!!!!!!! D:<!

Correcting *other *people's *posts[edit]

Correcting other people's posts is frowned upon. I don't mind if you fix a typo in mine, but fixing a typo and then putting "*(correction)" after it is a bit silly. There are a few other cases where it's allowed, such as formatting, fixing a link, or adding a signature, but if it's just spelling and grammar, generally you shouldn't. See the Vandalism page (specifically, the section marked "Altering Comments") for more info. Given the number of grammar and capitalization errors in your own post, I'm sure you knew better and were just in a snit, but next time please try to resist the temptation. I certainly didn't go through and change the many spelling typos, grammar errors, and improper capitalizations in your post. If you reflect on how you would have felt had I done so, I'm sure you'll realize why they have the policy. -Vardis 10:11, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Yawn, I didn't make a single typing error, period. 24.63.171.231 23:36, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Also, you're incorrect, It's not frowned upon and is actually welcomed highly, I quote " Use proper typing unless you want your posts edited mercilessly "

"Killing the merc in the presence of others will yeild a bounty."
I'm sure you know what you quoted applies only to articles, and that other rules govern talk pages. What do you hope to accomplish by arguing nonsense? -Vardis 01:04, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Take your own advice, perhaps?[edit]

Telling me "i'm not here to get a psychological evaluation, keep your opinions of me personally to yourself", and then finishing your rant by calling me a doofus isn't helpful. I didn't even give an opinion of you personally, I speculated on the reasoning behind your conclusions. My saying that I thought you were probably not giving sufficient weight to chance being a factor in random encounters is hardly a personal attack, so less drama would be appreciated. If, as you claim, you weren't concluding anything and were just sharing with the group, why get so defensive about it? Just say that's not what you meant and move on. -Vardis 10:32, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Telling me to cause less drama while causing drama yourself, stay classy vardis. 24.63.171.231 23:37, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Oh, and for the record, I'm sorry if I'm going to have to refuse to 1.) Talk how you want me too and 2.) Behave how YOU want me too. If you didn't feel guilty about any of the things you've said or done, you'd have never messaged me and left it alone, obviously you're here to start shit so you can sleep better at night by trying to get a rise out of me. Itwontwork:):):D! -- This is my last edit on here anyway, I see that the owners of this website are impartial to American typing, logic, and overall social behaviorism.

Invest in a mirror. -Vardis 00:07, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Regardless of whether or not that actually was your last edit, please keep in mind, 24.63.171.231, that editing here is a privilege, not a right. If you ever do decide to come back and edit again, please do so with more social skills and a cooperative attitude. Belligerence will not be tolerated. And, for the record, as far as I can tell, Vardis has been in the right for most of the time (I exclude the slight name-calling; but then again, we all do that to some degree). That is only my opinion, however, and I will not profess it to be anything more than that.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 01:12, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
