Blocked[edit]

I was blocked for repeatedly changing the color description of Serpentine Dragons from Black to Blue in the Skyrim:Dragon page.

I believe this is an accurate change that needs to be made. I have been opposed by several users some who stated the ID listed it as Black and so that is what it should be.

I understand that the ID lists it as black but this is not the true color and the section that I edited has nothing to do with the ID and is simply labeled as "Color".

I apologize for my excessive editing and in the future I will simply post in the talk section of an article if I believe a page should be edited. 72.171.16.61 20:54, 28 August 2013 (GMT) 72.171.16.60

It's not the editing itself that was a problem, so please don't refrain from future edits just because they may be reverted--it happens to everyone. :) If it's something non-controversial, feel free to edit away! The problem here, however, was that you chose to repeatedly force a controversial position without discussing it. When something you add is reverted, the next step is to take it to the talk page, not edit war over it. I just wanted to clarify that; the block has expired now anyway. :) --¿Vulpa? 21:00, 28 August 2013 (GMT)
Thank you I have made a post on the talk page and I will see if any other users agree with me. If others do agree I will leave it to an administrator or a more reputable user to make the decision to change it or not. 72.171.16.61 21:09, 28 August 2013 (GMT)72.171.16.60
That's a much better course of action. :) I'm not going to add anything there (go to go in a minute), but I'm sorry to say that people probably won't see your side of it. This wiki generally prefers to accept the game's word over the opinions of its players: i.e., most people viewing the discussion page will be inclined to go with what the gamemakers put into the Editor ID. Sorry, but that's how the community here has decided to add info. I look forward to see more edits of yours though, it's obvious that you simply had a bad first impression here. ;) --¿Vulpa? 21:26, 28 August 2013 (GMT)
