Welcome[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! --DKong27 Talk Cont 01:56, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Anastasia vs. DragonWolf[edit]

We generally discourage posting with signatures that aren't similar to your user name. If you'd like to permanently change your user name to DragonWolf, just ask on the Administrator Noticeboard and an Admin will change it for you. Then you can start signing with DragonWolf and/or change any of your older signatures if you wish. Robin Hoodtalk 19:38, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Signing your contributions[edit]

It would be nice if you could remember to add a signature to your contributions on the talk pages. It is easy, as the only thing you need is to type four tildes (like this: ~~~~) at the end of your message. It is so much easier to follow the discussions then, and you save other users the work to have to go in manually to mark every one of your unsigned contributions with an unsigned template. —MortenOSlash (talk) 12:58, 14 July 2013 (GMT)

Show Preview[edit]

Hello, Anastasia! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to be making multiple edits to your user page which could be avoided by using the show preview button, a nifty little utton which allows you to preview your edit before pressing that ever-so tempting "Save" button(;. These extra edits contribute towards clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions! Skyrimplayer (talk) 21:32, 7 October 2013 (GMT)
