I am leaving this wikia.

From what I've seen, i don't see that as a bad thing! Volanaro 16:58, 22 March 2008 (EDT)

Blocked[edit]

I did not vandalise the wiki, Nephele. I said I did not vandalise the wiki.124.181.248.118 00:07, 17 February 2008 (EST)

It wasn't me, Nephele. It was 124.176.238.228. 124.181.248.118 00:09, 17 February 2008 (EST)

I need to add the Dark Minion to the Player faction on the Factons [sic] page. 124.181.248.118 01:45, 17 February 2008 (EST)

Sorry, but requesting to make followup edits to your previous vandalism on the Dark Minion article does nothing to convince me that it would in any way be good for the site to lift the block. I have very little interest in helping someone who has threatened members of the community and repeatedly shown no trustworthiness. --NepheleTalk 02:04, 17 February 2008 (EST)

Nephele! I DID NOT VANDALISE HIS ARTICLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!124.181.248.118 04:04, 17 February 2008 (EST)

Tell the webmaster I am sorry. 124.181.248.118 00:00, 18 February 2008 (EST)

In accordance with our Blocking Policy, the block on this IP address is currently only set to last for one week. Furthermore, your IP address is obviously assigned to you dynamically by your internet provider. Therefore in five days, if not sooner, you will be able to edit again. If you really want to prove that you are sorry, then prove it by making good use of your editing privileges at that point. On the other hand, if you choose at that point to resume your previous edits, your IP addresses will be permanently blocked from that point forward.
But you have failed so far to provide any type of reasonable justification for why the block should be lifted any sooner than already scheduled; your previous behaviour makes me be very skeptical of your statements. If any other admin feels that a broader discussion of this block is necessary, we could start a full, official discussion of an appeal on the Administrator Noticeboard. But any type of consensus decision on an appeal requires at least a week (to give everyone a chance to contribute); since it will not cause the block to be lifted any sooner, I don't think it's worth everybody's time and effort. --NepheleTalk 01:46, 18 February 2008 (EST)

Nephele, did you block me again !? 124.181.248.118 04:17, 21 February 2008 (EST)

As Nephele has already explained at some length, your IP address was blocked for one week. The block currently expires at 02:49, 24 February 2008. –RpehTCE 05:03, 21 February 2008 (EST)

2:49 am or 2:49 pm, Rpeh? 124.181.248.118 15:42, 21 February 2008 (EST)

02:49am server time - that's Eastern Time. You'll need to work out how that converts to Australia. –RpehTCE 15:59, 21 February 2008 (EST)

OK. 124.181.248.118 04:57, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Nephele, Rpeh, and Eshe, I will never vandalise the wiki. I will help it instead of harm it. If not, I will only use the sandbox. 124.181.248.118 23:34, 23 February 2008 (EST)

Greylapse[edit]

I found a greylapse table on Wrye's talk page. Can I replace it with a wikitable? 124.181.248.118 17:35, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Short answer: No.
Long answer: If you weren't blocked you could, but you probably shouldn't. The greylapse -> wikitable move was to standardize the tables on regular site content. Since this is a user's talk page, it's up to Wrye to choose the table format he wants. —Eshetalk18:18, 22 February 2008 (EST)

OK. Did you come up with the greylapse -> wikitable move, Eshe? 124.181.248.118 20:19, 23 February 2008 (EST)

DEEPSCORN PRISONEER  [sic]ARTICEL [sic][edit]

I think Deepscorn Prisoner needs an article. 124.181.248.118 23:25, 23 February 2008 (EST)

I don't see why, there isn't that much to say about him, all he does is sleep in a prison cell. Volanaro 06:56, 1 March 2008 (EST)

But what is his race, Volanaro? 124.181.248.118 19:37, 1 March 2008 (EST)

SI MODINDICES[edit]

Should the SI NPC summaries have their modindices listed as "xx" and the "mod" field made to say "Shivering Isles", Rpeh? Like so,

Archive 1
Added by Shivering Isles
Race Gender (?)
Level (?) Class (?)
RefID N/A BaseID N/A

I know that my wikiing is bad but I want to show you.

124.181.248.118 04:36, 1 March 2008 (EST)

No and No. The id really does start with a 00 rather than the usual xx because SI isn't installed as a mod but as an extension. Also, since we're already using a separate namespace for SI we don't need to mention that the NPCs are added by a mod. –RpehTCE 06:15, 1 March 2008 (EST)

Olo's ID[edit]

Moved to Oblivion:Bendu Olo

Page Moved[edit]

Voila, your previous talk page is now your new account's talk page. --NepheleTalk 02:29, 2 March 2008 (EST)

Thank you, Nephele. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 02:31, 2 March 2008 (EST)

Editorverse[edit]

Somercy, can you add me to your Editors fanfic as a male Imperial called Dagoth Croft, please? Dagoth Ur, Mad God 02:35, 2 March 2008 (EST) I left a response to this on my talk page. Somercy 14:19, 8 March 2008 (EST)

Daedric Banner[edit]

Rpeh, can you customize my userpage with my username in Daedric when I create it? Examples,

Rpeh, Eshe and GuildKnight. --Dagoth Ur, Mad God 03:04, 2 March 2008 (EST)

Userpage[edit]

Can I create my userpage now? Dagoth Ur, Mad God 03:41, 2 March 2008 (EST)

.PNG VERSION[edit]

Nephele, my user page has a image version. There is a large block of Daedric on it. Can you please replace the Daedric font template with .png's? Here is a link. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 22:19, 4 March 2008 (EST)

Small request...[edit]

Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that it would be really appreciated if you could use the "Show preview" button as much as possible instead of making a bunch of edits in a row to a single page. At the moment the Recent Changes page is a bit flooded from edits to your user page, so using the previews would make things a lot easier for those of us who are keeping an eye on the site. Thanks. –Eshetalk22:35, 4 March 2008 (EST)

Vandalism[edit]

Do not revert other editors' contributions and label their work as vandalism unless the edit clearly and unambiguously is vandalism. Insulting other editors by labeling them as vandals without cause is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. --NepheleTalk 01:34, 5 March 2008 (EST)

But I didn't see 21000 clubs on Muurine, Nephele. I'm sorry. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 06:15, 5 March 2008 (EST)

That's not the point. Accusing somebody of vandalism is a serious matter since it's grounds for blocking and even if it turns out to be false it reflects badly on the editor concerned. You need to read the site policies, especially the one called Assume Good Faith. I've never personally seen many of the things mentioned on this site but I trust the other editors enough to take their word on them. –RpehTCE 06:26, 5 March 2008 (EST)

Gaiden Guild[edit]

I have posted Mafre Nagayea's bio on your talk page, Lord Igron. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 07:09, 6 March 2008 (EST)T|C

Recent Vandalism[edit]

Nephele, the Main page's talk page was vandalised. It came from 62.171.194.41.. S/he replcaed the aforementioned page with the following:

                                this sux

Nephele, do it on behalf of me, Daveh, Somercy, and the whole wiki. Block that IP, if you can. The site will benefit from us. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 07:32, 7 March 2008 (EST) T|C|E

Inappropriate Edits[edit]

Please stop adding content such as this and this. Although editors have a fair bit of freedom with their personal user pages, those user pages are still part of this website and must meet the site's standards for decency and appropriate content.

Also, please stop adding trails such as {{Oblivion Places Trail}} to your user pages. Those trails cause your sandboxes to be added to various categories used by the site's readers to navigate through the site's content. Readers of the site should not come across your experiments when they are trying to browse the site for useful information, and readers should not be forced to figure out for themselves that the information on those pages is all false.

We are trying to be tolerant of your edits, in spite of the previous behaviour that caused you to be blocked. However, so far you have done very little to reassure the community that we made the right decision in allowing you to resume editing after that block expired. Please remember that editing UESP is a privilege, the purpose of which is to allow editors to help improve the site. The site is not here to collect experiments consisting of made-up and inappropriate information. Every edit that you make has to be checked by our site's patrollers; every edit that you make shows up on recent changes and gets in the way of editors who are trying to help monitor the site. A few edits here and there are not a problem. But your constant stream of edits is reaching the point where your edits are disruptive.

In other words, if you are actually interested in contributing productively to the site, as you implied in your repeated pleas when blocked, then your edits would be welcome. But so far the net result of your contributions has been a drain on the site's resources, with no benefit to anyone else in the community. If this pattern continues, official administrative actions will be warranted for the sake of the site's community. Please do not push things to that point. --NepheleTalk 17:07, 8 March 2008 (EST)

OK, Neph. I'll set to work. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 18:29, 8 March 2008 (EST)
I see you and Rpeh have worked on the pages my edits were on. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 18:45, 8 March 2008 (EST)
While we're at it, do not add 1.5 MB nonsense images to the site. The fact that you got a warning when uploading the image telling you the image was larger than our size limit should have been more than enough indication that the image should not have been uploaded. Plus perhaps the fact that your image has nothing to do with the Elder Scrolls. Although that should be common sense, just for good measure it is explicitly stated at Uploading Images:
Note that UESP is not a general image-hosting server. Any non-UESP images that are uploaded will be deleted on sight.
Your nonsense is not amusing and is not appreciated by anybody else in the community. --NepheleTalk 12:02, 9 March 2008 (EDT)

Warning[edit]

I DESIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dagoth Ur, Mad God 10:16, 14 March 2008 (EDT)

Request Kindly[edit]

Sir, you have on your page two userboxes (the Ahnassi and Vivek god ones) that I created. I would like to ask that you remove them from your userpage. I normally allow people I know and like to use my userboxes, however you clearly haven't even read my userpage. Your request to be added to my Editors fics upset me. I would like for you to leave, but failing that, I'd like you to remove my userboxes. Somercy 12:47, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

I will, Somercy. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 16:46, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

Check my page, Somercy. You will not find your userboxes. In return, you can use my Umbra and Dark Minion userboxes. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 16:54, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

Leaving for Wikiscrolls[edit]

Nephele, I would like you to delete all pages that make up my userspace except my userpage and this talk page. Leaving UESP is the best thing for me. I am now one with Wikiscrolls, Aristeo's new wiki. Dagoth Ur, Mad God 10:23, 14 March 2008 (EDT)

Also, Nephele, can you put full protection on my now-blank page? Dagoth Ur, Mad God

Advice[edit]

Since you have decided to return to this site I feel I should remind you that you are on a warning for disrupting the site by repeatedly posting material with no relevance to UESP. Your reinstated user page seems to indicate that you intend to continue that activity.

UESP is not intended to be a personal website; it is a resource designed to help people. We allow a large degree of autonomy in user pages but continued behavior of the kind you exhibited earlier will simply not be tolerated as it causes disruption to the site and frustration to its users.

I note that even while I have been typing this you have created a new page and even put the text "It ts not related to TES in any way" on it despite the earlier warning. Stop now or I will be forced to take action under the Blocking Policy. –RpehTCE 06:51, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

Elder Scrolls ban[edit]

This is KAJ. I thought I would let you know I have banned you from the Elder Scrolls Wiki. I dont much appreciate you making nonsense articles and then putting notices on the top telling me not to delete them. I had already decided to give you a warning but looking at the magnitude of offenses you have commited here it's clear you havent got a worthwhile edit in you. I'd rather you did not respond to this, any future appearance on the Elder Scrolls wiki under any alternative user name or ip adress is not welcome. Good day. - KAJ

Sandboxes[edit]

Nephele, can you please restore my sandboxes? It would be appreciated. Dagoth Ur, Mad God (talk· contribs· email) 04:21, 3 April 2008 (EDT)

P.S. I would like to create a bot. Dagoth Ur, Mad God (talk· contribs· email) 04:21, 3 April 2008 (EDT)

I think I can speak for Nephele and my other fellow admins when I say "No" to that request. Your sandboxes were full of irrelevant nonsense that simply annoyed other users. You should only create sandboxes and sub-pages for site-related material and that does not include non-existent NPCs, non-existent books etc. Do not recreate your sandboxes unless you are going to use them sensibly. –RpehTCE 05:04, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
I will use them as sensible Morrowind ones.

Fishy Stick.[edit]

Rpeh, I have the Fishy Stick template up. Here it is.
