Morrowind Construction Set NPC Window Inventory Items[edit]

When I double click on a NPC then their NPC window comes up I can't fully tell what some items with long names are in their inventory. Like 2/3 of long items names are blocked off. Is there a workaround for this? Tamriel&Sovngarde (talk) 17:07, 3 June 2013 (GMT)

Select the top right-hand side of the Object ID tab and pull it over to make it wider. Then use the scrollbar to move left and right along here. You cannot change the window size, unfortunately. Here is a visual example. Vely►t►e 18:02, 3 June 2013 (GMT)

Trebonius's Spells Question[edit]

The charts are only for when they SELL the spells, which Trebonius does not. If they just have the spells, then they should be in prose, and the ones that they sell should be in a table. Make sense? Jeancey (talk) 20:08, 4 June 2013 (GMT)

Finding Gold In Morrowind Construction Set[edit]

Found it in misc items at last. In Socucius Ergalla's inventory in the Construction Set it says he has random gold, where can info on this be found in the leveled items section? MW:Buildings[edit]

Hey Jeancey. I remember bringing up this page a few nights ago in the IRC. I saw on another talk page that you were planning on creating house/building pages for Morrowind houses/buildings and adding them to that list. I just had the thought (for some reason, I'm random like that) that whenever you'd like to get started on this that you add a Bot Request to get a jump start on this and make your life a little easier.

[Dragonborn DLC] Tharsten Race; Imperial or Breton?[edit]

He is shorter than Nords, but he is treated as an Elder race in-game. Is the name Tharsten a Breton or Imperial name? I am trying to make him look like my character in Skyrim. It seems that Bethesda copies Imperial, Nord, and Breton races then replaces this with Elder character old wrinkle textures on them. Also, is Arngeir a Nord? He probably is. Alinor in ESO?[edit]

Hello, you said that Alinor is stated to appear in ESO in a Zenimax interview (link below). Could you send me a link to the interview? I'm genuinely curious since looking at the Aldmeri Dominion Q&A (link below also) it says that only Auridon (Moridunon) appears in ESO, which would make it impossible to visit Alinor. Cheers!

200+430+900+2900=4430 years ago (approximately) the merethic era ended and the first era began. We have absolutely no dates in the merethic era at all. We don't know how long it was, when any event at all happened. So late merethic could be at any point prior to the first era and after the middle of the merethic. Miraak Quest Links Redundant[edit]

Online:Places - Alinor[edit]

You said that Zenimax mention "mention being able to see the spires of Alinor" in their Ask Us Anything Q&A. This is false. Also, the Q&A confirmed that Alinor is NOT in ESO because only Auridon is explorable; Zenimax never mentioned Alinor in their answer. I'm not going to make any more edits because this is getting silly, but you shouldn't spread false info like "being able to see the spires of Alinor" in ESO or that Zenimax haven't confirmed whether we can't visit Alinor. Just because only Auridon is explorable does not preclude the possibility of Alinor (JUST the city) from being in the game and part of some event or quest. Imagine a single quest that requires you to visit Alinor and perform some sort of action. This happens in games all the time. Since it was mentioned in the interview, we include it. Please do not remove it again until either the game is released (and it is confirmed not in the game) or until a specific statement says that it is not included. The comment about the spires being visible isn't from anything official, and though (after some discussion in the IRC) Jeancey was basing some of his view on an unattributed quote from the PGE1 Aldmeri Dominion, I see enough evidence to keep the location on the page. Queen Ayrenn has her throne (as queen of the High Elves) in Alinor; she rules the Dominion from Elden Root. Notice that there are plenty of other locations named in various places, but not confirmed as being in the game. Also, the game will feature every province in Tamriel, and it is extremely unlikely that Alinor will not be in the game, especially since there are already known connections to it. I was the one to actually add the location when I created the page. I explored numerous hands-on reports from journalists, all the official releases (interviews / videos / screenshots) for named places. Riekling Language Page[edit]

I have given it thought how rieklings have learned to speak. They have lived on Solsthiem for at least 200 years. Which will be a long time for them to settle their tribal ways. (Since Morrowind, anyway) Also, giants can say the translatable line: "Ayarg garag gar!" Morrowind: PC Clothing Modifier[edit]

I am using Arrille as an example for this. From what I've seen:
  • Dialogue: "It's been a long time since I've seen one of those."
  • Variable 1: PC Clothing Modifier: <= 0
  • Variable 2: Random 100: >= 25
  • Result: ClothingMod<= 0

Morrowind: Male Nord Attack Quotes[edit]

In the CS for the attack quote: "You're bested!" In the result it says: ;PCRace=1;[Argonian]. It doesn't list this in the speaker condition though. Many NPCs in the Morrowind namespace are not relevant enough for their own pages, and instead have their basic information saved as values in a redirect to put in a concise table on the proper page. Mudan Grotto Images[edit]

Hey Jeancey. I was about ready to take some interior images for the Mudan Grotto page and happened to notice that there was already one interior image on the page. The image is a picture of the Easter Egg located in the Mudan, Right Tower area. Based on the guidelines of the project, should the image be moved from its current name (MW-interior-Mudan Grotto.jpg) to MW-interior-Mudan, Right Tower.jpg? This is true for all the images in the same zone of if the area only has one zone. However, the image names for different zones reflect the actual name of that zone. For example, on the Assemanu page, one image was called MW-interior-Assemanu.jpg for the first zone while the image for the second zone was called MW-interior-Assemanu, Shrine.jpg. As the project page states: "This means that for large dungeons with multiple sub-zones, the image should be named for the precise name of the sub-zone, which generally includes the name of the main dungeon itself. An example of this would be the Dwemer ruin of Arkngthand, which has six separate sub-zones. The interior image for the Hall of Centrifuge sub-zone should thus be named MW-interior-Arkngthand, Hall of Centrifuge.jpg." Forfeit (talk) 00:08, 12 August 2013 (GMT)

House vs house[edit]

I noticed on a couple of the house pages I have been setting up that you've changed, for example, "Alval Uvani's House" to "Alval Uvani's house". This typically would seem correct to me, but shouldn't the "H" be capitalized since it is the actual name of the area? This would be like using "Exhausted mine" instead of the actual name of the area "Exhausted Mine" just because mine is not typically capitalized in normal situations. From what I have seen in the past, the mine, cave, or whatever else has been typically capitalized when it is the name of the area (e.g. 13 samples of bread can be found in Dangerous Mine). I'm not sure if there has been a ruling on this in the past, but I just want to get it squared away so there isn't capitalization inconsistencies across the wiki. Well, the way I look at it is that it is someone's house. The name describes the house, so it isn't a proper name. If it were Uvani House, then house is capitalized, but Uvani's house isn't. That does actually. I personally thought it should be lower-cased too, but looking around on the wiki, a lot of the Oblivion book pages and the various ingredients pages typically use H over h, such as sweetroll for just one example. Mehrunes' Razor is a specific object. There aren't multiple of Mehrunes' things laying around, like Mehrunes' toothbrush or something. It doesn't disqualify it from being a proper name, but in the instance of the houses, if it is Alval Uvani's house, clearly the name is simply describing the ownership of the house, not a proper name for that house. You would never say "I went over to that Alval Uvani's House place" but you would say "I went over to that Arborwatch place." Make any more sense now? Jeancey (talk) 01:51, 13 August 2013 (GMT)

I think Legoless brings up an interesting point with Goblin Jim's Cave. A similar example I thought of was Fathis Aren's Tower. However, looking at some quotes from in-game, "house" is usually not capitalized in this way. Plenty of examples can be found on Amusei's page, with one being: "Please travel to Ganredhel’s house in Cheydinhal." In contrast, Goblin Jim's Cave is capitalized in Fadus' dialogue about the location: "You heard of 'Goblin Jim's Cave'? It's a big one. It's a long walk due north of Skingrad, in the Imperial Reserve... a long way from civilization." Also, at least the way I read it, it seems like he's referring to the area as a place called "Goblin Jim's Cave" rather than a cave owned/lived in by Goblin Jim (i.e. Goblin Jim's cave).
