Welcome!^_^[edit]

Hello LoftedAphid86! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! —Skyrimplayer 13:20, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Testing Name[edit]

Can you test this using the 'Show Preview' button instead of saving? You won't lose any changes you make, and it won't add so many edits to the Recent Changes page. ABCface 16:34, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
I can't seem to make a link to my talk page. It just appears as plain text. Sorry about the 'Recent Changes' thing. I never check these things, so I forget that they even exist. LoftedAphid86 16:48, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
You can't link to your talk page while your on your talk page. If you link to a page you're already on, it'll just bold the link. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 16:43, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Protected NPCs[edit]

Thanks for adding the follower bit, I could verify that via console. About the attacked while in "bleedout", in which scenarios would that happen?

I guess we should explain the general concept in the article first, then list exceptions, like attacked during bleedout (or by poison?). Another thing, I noticed while testing that Golldir didn't really heal up during bleedout, but continued to fight after he regained minimal health, while other protected NPCs seemd to recover to full health - do you know something about that? --Alfwyn (talk) 18:21, 1 October 2012 (GMT)

They can be attacked by anything that has an Area of Effect, or simply delays between attacks (I've seen followers die due to groups of NPCs power attacking them or two handed users who may end up attacking when the NPC has entered bleedout). Poison is a very annoying way to lose followers, since Falmer are everywhere and seem to love poisons that are stronger than an NPC's healing rate.
I think that an NPC regains all of their health if they are attacked just as they exit bleedout (as they stagger back and rejoin the fray). I've seen it happen to Jenassa before while testing out followers on Greybeards, but the rest of the time it's just been essential NPCs that have recovered this way. Spam[edit]

Hi LoftedAphid! Thanks for clearing out that page of spam earlier. Just wanted to let you know there's actually a tag you can use to make those pages easier to spot for admins—stick a {{speed|Spam}} on there to mark it for speedy deletion and we're sure to spot it ;). Thanks again! eshetalk 14:27, 22 December 2012 (GMT)
