Welcome![edit]

Hello Woodenplank! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! Jeancey (talk) 20:42, 23 March 2013 (GMT)

Healing Received / Healing Taken[edit]

Like many Online articles this one is somewhat unfinished.

Indeed, some of the information is actually wrong, in a sense. The game distinguishes between Healing Received and Healing Taken. They are not the same stat. As one can read, the link to "sets with increased healing received" actually lists sets with Healing Taken stat.

The confusion arises because 1. ZOS never explained this, and 2. They have similar effect. Indeed Healing Taken and Received have the same effect on your character; a percentage bonus to any incoming heal.

BUT THEY STACK DIFFERENTLY. Each stat stacks additively with itself, but multiplicatively with the other. For instance A character with Minor Vitality (8% received) and Major Vitality (16% received) gets (1+0.08+0.16)=1.24 times normal healing. A character with 8% healing taken (from armor) and Major Vitality gets (1 +0.08)*(1 + 0.16) = 1.2528 times normal healing.
