Well as some may know i have sorted out arena and since i am Elders scrolls noob, having only ever played oblivion, i want to know which class is an easy on to start as.

I want would like it to be a combat heavy armour class please. And also what race would go good with that, and what stats i should put my 'bonus points' into etc.

He also has one for Daggerfall as well.

I believe he's done with Arena and Daggerfall, he has done quite a lot of other RPGs though. (Including Battlespire)

I played the game a couple of months ago, and easily conquered it.

I was a Nord Barbarian. They can't use the more advanced armor, like steel and iron or whatever... but instead they have increased health and that's well worth it. The game shouldn't be any problem if you make a Nord Barbarian, increase endurance, agility (important!) and strength every level and look out for the best equipment (see the items page on the arena-pages of uesp.net, for which weapons that are in which stores etc.) Use a Dai-Katana or a Katana with a Tower Shield. The best is an Ebony Katana/Dai-Katana/Shield preferably with an enchantment.

Agility makes your character hit more often, and block more successfully.

Be sure to gain about three levels in the first dungeon before exiting. Then, go to Inns for random quests, by asking people around town about "Work". You can find random dungeons outside towns, but don't try to wander between cities (you won't get anywhere) - use fast travel. Dungeons are marked on the map with a red dot. If you can't find your way back to town (you can't scroll your map very much), fast travel. All terrain is randomly generated except Main Quest dungeons, which means areas outside different cities may look the same, as for random dungeons outside cities and houses both inside and outside cities.

If you have problems anywhere, just check out the uesp.net Main Quest articles. I have added my preparation tips and such. Or just ask me! :)
