Ok, so you now how with Oblivion Character Overhaul you can adjust the age slider at character creation to add tribal tattoos for a Dark Elf?

Well I created a character without tattoos and somehow they keep appearing in game after a while. Like I'll be playing and everything is fine, my character has an unmarked face. Then at some point I'll switch into vanity mode for a quick look and realize that the face tattoos have appeared.

Is there any reason for this to be happening? Does your character grow older as the game advances and therefore cause the tattoos to appear? I'm really getting sick of having to reload earlier saves because I don't want my Dunmer to have face markings.

Anything to do with vampirism?

I know this is an old thread but I thought I'd chime in, I've recently discovered that using the OBSE launcher to play Oblivion reduces/removes most of the problems associated with OCO.
