Hello, hello.
Since I've gotten into Oblivion on the PC, I've noticed that the majority of mods available on Nexus Mods recommend using programs other than the Nexus Mod Manager. I'm barely familiar with NMM as it is, so I'm not too keen on getting a new program. My question is this; is it still possible to download some types of simple mods, such as armor or weapons, with NMM without problems or issues?

Thank you in advance.

Absolutely. More complex things like overhauls will require manual installation, but NMM works for a lot of things on the Nexus.

You don't even need a mod manager to install simple mods.

I'm working exclusively with NMM for downloading and installing mods for all TES titles.

Okay, thank you guys.

Do body mods require manual installation? I've got one installed already and it seems to be working no problem through NMM, but I just want to make sure I didn't screw anything up that I haven't noticed yet. And another question; is manual installation typically a difficult process?

Manual installation is usually very easy, it's just drag and drop.

Body mods are usually just texture replacers so if it's working with NMM then it should be fine.
