This is going to keep me up tonight :| . Ah, I can't wait! I also can't wait for a console with almost-as-good-as-PC graphics (for 3 months) .

I want more control of a guild once you become the leader of it that's the main thing. Then I also want more dialogue options hardcore mode Realistic stabbing marks and cut mark's scorched bodies for when you set them on fire, multiple follower's , more crowded cities, more npc's , more faction's to join.

Construction kit and mod support for consoles.

Oh yeah that too I want mod's on my xbox!

Yeah, well unless Microsoft and Sony actively support modding in games, they'll have to deal with problems that arise in the online gaming community, such as using mods to cheat. That being said, hardware upgrades are the only thing that's keeping consoles behind after 5 years of its life.

Because I never manage to be around when these long lasting threads start, I won't wait to compile my thoughts into a religious work.
  1. Spell damage scaling: this is a big beef with me, I noticed it in Oblivion and it became prevalent in SKyrim. While it is by no means a "deal breaker", it makes leveling a mage less fluid compared to weapon wielders. You don't progress so much as 'plateau' into the next level of mastery (novice, apprentice, so on)

  2. More spell diversity: The difference in effects in elements alone were interesting, but the lack of spellmaking makes me want more

  3. Better combat animations: Melee tends to have odd placing or clipping and sometimes it's hard to tell what exactly your character was trying to do as he/she shoved his blade in the dragon's nostrils...Skyrim still has that off feel when it comes to weapons connecting with enemies that stood out more in Morrowind than now, but still doesn't feel right.

  4. Better animations in general: A lot of times I find myself thinking "That's gotta hurt" because npcs seem to be freely swiveling their spine on their pelvis, the awkward "lean back at the hip" look.

  5. More of the little things: From small odd-jobs to almost obscure references, I love them to pieces, the jobs do wonders for immersion and the little stories/references in just about every nook and cranny really sell me on Skyrim, capturing the magic of Morrowind again.

  6. Artifacts: I don't feel like there's enough of them (Which I felt the same in Oblivion), there are the usual Daedric ones, but what I really miss is all the small local legend artifacts like in Morrowind or the Aedric Artifacts.

  7. Tails: For Khajiit and Argonian lovers, you'll know where I'm coming from, there are some awful clipping issues with the beast races' tails in not only sitting, but in general when you walk downhill.

  8. Morrowind Dunmer Voices: Either bring it back or don't, just stop teasing us with it every game since then only to pull it

  9. Lycanthropes: More Randomized Werewolves and maybe even one unique afflicted Daedra (See 16 Accords of Madness VI)

-I want the old attributes system back. I don't like how you can only choose to raise your health, magicka or stamina per level in Skyrim. It lessens the RPG 'vibe' from the game for me.
-Non-man children. IIRC, they don't exist.
-Yeah, the morrowind dunmer voices too. I'm quite used to dunmer voices being rough and was quite surprised to hear them differently in Oblivion.
-Removal of the skill perk system or simplification of it. Honestly, I don't really like it. It gives me the feeling that I missed that one useful perk that gives me a lot of gold or amplifies my enchantments or makes me a better smith.
-New spell elements. Where's water, earth or wind?
-More animal companions. I want spiders or mammoths!

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread

Hmm, firstly, I would very much like the setting, to be Alinor, pretty please with cherries and all that jazz Bethy

I'd like Classes and Attributes back, and I'd like the number of skills to go back up a bit, but I'd like to keep the levelling system of Skyrim, and the perk system as well. I've considered it for a fair while, and I believe it's not only possible, but possible to do well. It's not a my kind of RPG if I can't customise my character more than simply designing an avatar.

Those are my major requests, that and bring back a diverse Factional system like Morrowind's, Oblivion and Skyrim are a bit of a let down on that front in comparison I have to say.

Oh, and try to be more tasteful with the whole racism thing. In Morrowind, the xenophobia was well executed, and highly effective, but in Skyrim, the racism just put me off a certain bunch of Nords, it didn't make me feel like a stranger in a strange world, and it didn't leave me wanting more.

Not necessary, but I would like garlic to have an effect called "Repel Vampires".

Crossbows, anyone?

I really didn't like the archery in Oblivion... It really sucked. I felt like everything were tanks getting shot with arrows, not squishy flesh being shot by arrows. I don't know about Skyrim, but I'll give it a try once I get the game. (I want crossbows because people liked them in Morrowind, and crossbows are pretty cool... Also, it'll be quite awesome if you could duel-wield the crossbows...)

I'd like to see Elsweyr, and maybe Valenwood together. Probably something along the lines of "Down with the Elves!".

A lot of work on the Khajiit would be cool too, with changing the weight slider actually altering the type of your Khajiit, to a degree (only bipedal, of course). So, for example, putting it all the way to the right would give you a huge, muscle-bound Cathay, and on the other end of the spectrum would be a stringy little Ohmes. And the other, four-legged types would be present too, but non-playable.

The main quest would concern the player rallying the Khajiit and maybe the Bosmer against their Thalmor "saviors", and driving them out of Elsweyr, probably ending with some all-out LOTResque battle.

Or we could get Black Marsh and mainland Morrowind, which would also be *awesome*. Any thoughts?

A lot has been said about different elemental spells, and I'm totally on board with that. A "Form Golem" alteration spell would be really cool, where you cast it at the ground and a golem forms to fight for you. Also, there could be a "Tidal Wave" (also alteration) which would obliterate enemies in or near water. Not really practical, but it strokes my Arch-Mage ego. As far as destruction goes, wind is totally untapped and it would do both damage and disarm your foes.

*Note: I know I already posted this somewhere else, but it got locked out... My own fault, really. Sorry!

I want to go to Elsewyr and I want the Dark Brotherhood to return but when the Dark Brotherhood returns I want them to be at war with another guild and have missions where you have to kill rival guild members.

I can't think of anything other than existent QA. I realise games on the scale of TES are pretty much bound by the laws of nature to be teeming with bugs, but it's actually held me off playing Skyrim.

In terms of actual features, seeing pole-arms and crossbows again would be neat. However if they improved combat, made it feel more visceral, then I would be satisfied with just the usual sword-axe-mace etc. combo. Oh, and horseback combat; having to choose between idly flopping off my horse to dispatch wolves every five minutes, or galloping onwards and ignoring them, is such an issue for me that I prefer not using horses at all.

I'd like to see a game-story theme of dwarfs re-emerging or a defeat the Altmare Dominion.

For gameplay mechanics.

1. More spells available (But no spellcrafting)
2. More archery abilities.
3. Separate 1h sword/axes/maces from daggers and give the 2 perk trees their own unique perks (Assassins and thieves fight different then a warrior does with a waraxe.)
4. Unarmed skill (make it it's own skill type, and give it perks to make it viable. As well as better combat animations *Martial arts*.)

I think skyrim did a lot right. Simplified a lot of tedious non-sense like armor/weapons degrading and managing stat points (The new Hp / Mana / Sta + skill based effectiveness is much better then oblivion's stat point nonsense)

Whatever they decide to do, it's obvious from skyrim that it will be a great game regardless of what they do. I wouldn't be dissapointed if nothing from my list ended up in TESVI.

I'm really most interested in what the TESVI story is going to be. They're getting better at delivering much more animated and seemless story. I can't wait to see some of the sequences from the next game.

I want to see athletics back, but useful this time. Acrobatics and Athletics should be folded into one, and climbing added into it. People trained in athletics can hang from rooftops, free run, backflip... I dunno, it could be nice if well done. If not, leave it out.

Spells that scale properly, instead of just decreasing in cost. That, or spell making. I don't mind which.

A bunch of different things. One thing I know is that Beth won't disappoint <3

I would also like to see larger cities that's streets are crowded with maybe nameless characters like nord, orc etc. I think this would make the cities feel more like cities if you had just some random npc's walking the streets making it feel more crowded more like a city.

Being able to accept your own contracts from random people, although that would defeat the purpose of the DB...
