This has been discussed many times.

I've only played Morrowind and beyond, but they are all great games; Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim.

The thing is with Skyrim I just get a feeling of "now what?" like in Oblivion when I beat all the quests in the game I felt proud of my work, but with Skyrim the factions in my opinion were nothing compared to Oblivion they were short and not as exciting, killing the emperor in the Dark Brotherhood was cool but it just wasn't the same as Oblivion's story do you now what I mean?

This is pretty much my list, too, although Skyrim and Morrowind are hard to choose between. Both are really good.

Daggerfall would be better without all the bugs and ancient graphics. It's much better than Arena, but Arena wasn't a horrible game either, especially for its time.

I haven't played any besides Oblivion and Skyrim. But I say Skyrim is by far my favorite of the two.

Spin-offs too, although I've played a grand total of none of them

He forbade us from liking the spin-offs in the OP. Which sucks because I was going to claim Stormhold, Shadowkey, Dawnstar, Redguard, and Battlespire as my favorites.

Oh AKB, you're a gem. I totally did read the OP, I just had forgotten what it said by the time I read Spiney's post.

You probably can't unless someone somehow converted them to ROM files.

5. Arena
4. Daggerfall
3. Oblivion
2. Skyrim
1. Morrowind!

HOWEVER... Mods can change a game exponentially, cleaning out its flaws and making it a better game experience. If I had to rate the games based on how good they are if they have mods that add more weapons, more creature variety, bigger battles, etc. then my list would go like this:

5. Arena (no mods)
4. Daggerfall (no mods)
3. Morrowind (not that many mods)
2. Oblivion (TONS of kick-butt mods)
1. Skyrim (not as many mods as Oblivion, but Skyrim was already much more improved anyways, so it wins)

Thanks for reading.

1. Oblivion
2. Morrowind
3. Skyrim
4. Daggerfall
5. Arena

Daggerfall and Arena are pretty close to a tie in my book, but the former has a good deal more content. Skyrim is spectacular, but it lacks some of the aspects of an RPG, such as stats and classes. And the lack of pants is off-putting as well. Morrowind is simply amazing, as we all know, but that GODS-FORSAKEN dice-roll chance-to-hit thing is what puts it below Oblivion for me. I know Arena and Daggerfall had it as well, but in those games it at least felt like I was getting an attack on my opponents more often than in Morrowind. Oblivion was my introduction to the Elder Scrolls, and I've just come to love playing it more than the others.
