Build Data[edit]

Save fixed builds of characters that you can easily link to and show your character build. Build data is fixed (once uploaded it doesn't change) and must be saved manually.

Collecting Build Data[edit]

Build data can be collected on the PC/Mac version of ESO by the following steps:

  • Install the uespLog add-on in ESO (also available at ESOUI and Nexus Mods).
  • Eat your desired food after add-on installation in order to track it.
  • Swap weapon bars at least once after logging in your character.
  • In-game use the /uespsavebuild BuildName command to save your character data with the given build name.
  • Log-out or /reloadui to update the add-on's saved variable file.
  • Use the uespLogMonitor program to automatically upload the data to the UESP or use the manual submission form at http://esobuilds.uesp.net/submit.php (see below for details).
  • View the builds at http://esobuilds.uesp.net.

Uploading Build Data[edit]

Build data can be uploaded to the UESP in several ways:

  1. On Windows systems you can use the uespLogMonitor program included with the add-on to automatically upload build data when your saved variable file is updated.
  2. Visit http://esobuilds.uesp.net/submit.php to upload build data in a saved variable file.
  3. Visit http://esolog.uesp.net/submit.php to upload all logged and build data in a saved variable file.

Once build data is uploaded you can clear it in-game by the /uespsavebuild clear command (uespLogMonitor will clear it automatically after uploading).

Viewing Build Data[edit]

There are several ways to access builds:

Deleting Build Data[edit]

At the moment there are two groups of users that can delete builds:

  • Wiki admins
  • The wiki user associated with the build when it was uploaded (if any)

If you have permission to delete a build then a "Delete Build" button will appear in the build list.

Build Data Usage Notes[edit]

  • After the uespLog add-on is installed it will track eaten food/drink for display in the build buffs.
  • Similarly, you must swap weapons after installing uespLog at least once for both weapon bars to be saved.
  • Saved builds can only be uploaded once. Duplicate uploads will be ignored. You can save a build multiple times in-game if you wish to have multiple entries in the online build list.
  • Data saved includes:
  • Worn equipment
  • Current buffs
  • All known skills
  • Weapon/ability bars
  • Champion Points
  • All character stats
  • Known crafting styles (look under Craft:Motifs in the skill section)
  • Data currently NOT saved includes:
  • Inventory/bank/guild items
  • Quest data
  • Achievements
  • You can view all the raw character data in a build by clicking the View Raw Data link in the bottom left corner of the build display.

Character Data[edit]

Automatically save your character data that you can view offline in any browser. Character data is variable (it changes every time you uploaded that character) and is usually saved automatically.

Collecting Character Data[edit]

Character data can be collected on the PC/Mac version of ESO by the following steps:

  • Install the uespLog add-on in ESO (also available at ESOUI and Nexus Mods.
  • In-game use the /uespchardata on command once to enable to automatic saving of character data.
  • Set a character password by using the /uespchardata password [mypasswd] command once in-game.
  • Log-out or /reloadui to update the add-on's saved variable file.
  • Repeat for more characters as desired.
  • Use the uespLogMonitor program to automatically upload the data to the UESP or use the manual submission form at http://esochars.uesp.net/submit.php (see below for details).
  • View the characters at http://esochars.uesp.net.

Passwords[edit]

Setting a password for your characters prevents anyone from uploading a character with the same name and overwriting your character accidentally or on purpose. By default there is no password set which grants permission for anyone to upload that character. Setting a password will enable it for all characters on your account. Use a unique and simple password to remember...don't use your ESO or UESP Wiki account password!

To set or change a character data password using the following commands in-game:

  • /uespchardata password [mypasswd] -- Change a password for your character data account
  • /uespchardata password clear -- Clear your character data password

If you've forgotten your password and need to reset it the Character List will show a "Change Password" link will appear for you if you've associated that character with your wiki username when you submitted it. Wiki Admins can also change a password for a character. Note that changing a password will change it for all characters on that account.
