Keelsplitter is a giant reef viper and the group boss of Keelsplitter's Nest in Summerset.

Skills and Abilities[edit]

Swipe: A basic melee attack dealing high physical damage.
Slam: Keelsplitter flies into the air and crashes back down, sending out a large shockwave, indicated by a large and quickly growing circular AoE, dealing very high physical damage and knocking you away and down. This attack is always followed by Waterspout.
Waterspout: Following Slam, water spouts erupt from the ground, one after the other, in a total of three, dealing very high physical damage and knocking you down. The first one is always directly after Slam, which can be lethal if you were knocked down by Slam beforehand. The other two water spouts have slightly more delay to them, but still occur quite close together, which can also be lethal if you are caught by the second and third in a row.; You are less likely to be hit by the water spouts if you just move out of the way of them rather than dodge rolling as the AoE size is deceiving and you can be hit mid-roll while you are technically no longer in the AoE.
Snake Eggsplode: When the battle begins, many snakes hatch from clusters of eggs that are scattered around the arena and begin roaming around, indicated by small traveling circular AoEs. The lower on health Keelsplitter becomes, the more snakes will be active in the arena at once.
Snake AoE^name?: If you step on the snake, it dies, leaving a poison tether on you that inflicts continuous unavoidable and unblockable poison damage. The only way to remove the tether is to step out of the border of the large AoE indicator that appears whenever you are tethered.
Take Off: Throughout the fight, Keelsplitter will fly off from its location to one of the three far corners of the arena, forcing you to navigate around the poisonous snakes in order to get back to the fight.
