Proposed deletion of Crowns, Crown Gems and Seals of Endeavor from this page[edit]

Should currencies like Crowns, Crown Gems and Seals of Endeavor really be here? They're purely IRL currency equivalents. Event tickets and Alliance Points are at least usable in world as they're currencies you can spend with NPCs. Crowns/Gems/Seals are all purely bought/awarded and spent in menus. There's no NPC giving you them, no place to spend them outside the Crown Store. They just don't exist in world at all AFAIK. It's like saying that the Creation Club Bethesda points (i don't recall their name) are in world currencies as well. EDIT: Pacrooti has two dialogue lines that mention gems, but my point still stands tbh CoolBlast3 (talk) 15:33, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

We have in-universe sources for Crowns (the "Crown merchants" mentioned in Crown Store Showcases) and Gems (namely Pacrooti), so they definitely "exist". Seals of Endeavor have zero lore associated with them at present so I can see the argument for their removal, but their non-inclusion would seem like an inconsistency to me then. The fact that they are treated as in-game items with physical descriptions/depictions as real currency tokens distinguishes them in my mind from the UI-only CC Credits seen in Skyrim or the gameplay-only currencies from Legends. —Legoless (talk) 08:50, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
