[edit] You are a Heretic. What now?

Starting Off

  • Your skills are in the fashion of a priest gone bad. You manipulate your foes. Or destroy them. Destruction, Conjuration and Illusion must flow from your hands. Learn how to summon a Hunger, and do so whenever you please. You eliminate your foes at a distance, but if necessary can eviscerate them with a Blade. Find the book Heretical Thoughts, and place it in all your homes. Find Heretic camps, get the robes and hood, kill anyone who doesn't think you're a true Heretic. Make a shrine around their corpses to show you mean business.

Average Schedule

  • In the morning, you wake up early. In your extreme paranoia, you must check your camp and everything within a kilometer for enemies. Satisfied that the hordes of that false god are at bay, you can eat breakfast. Then while you're off guard, summon a Dark Seducer/Golden Saint (if you have the spell), and pretend that you're under attack. Heroically win the battle, taking minor wounds. Your home and shrine and dead comrades are protected yet again. Reward yourself by reading Heretical Thoughts twelve times. Eat lunch, relish in the fact that you killed the Madgod, and then secretly plot against the new one, ignoring the fact that you are him. Run towards New Sheoth and kill a Dark Seducer/Golden Saint. In disguise, go into town as a regular citizen, and buy supplies. You may need new flowers for your shrines. On return to your camp, you take a wrong turn and find a Zealot Camp. All the Zealots wind up dead, explainable only by Hunger Tongues and several Heretical Thoughts tomes strewn around their corpses. Those guys deserved it. Read Heretical Thoughts several more times.

Playing Style

  • Hungers are your slaves. Use them to kill your enemies.
  • You travel almost always in Sneak Mode, and observe the situation, attacking only if the odds are 1:100000. In your favor.
  • Your mission in life is too kill Sheogorath and all Zealots. Act like it. However it is not recommended that you attack Sheogorath until you know you can kill him. Then show him who's heading downwards to the execution point. Well... nobody is, but kill him anyway.
  • Cross-country is the only path for you.

Daily Guidelines

  • Kill all Dark Seducers
  • Kill all Golden Saints
  • Kill all Zealots
  • Kill all try-hard Heretics
  • Worship Arden-Sul, and only Arden-Sul
  • Kill all people who don't share this idea
