Version[edit]

Does anyone else think that we should use one of the photos (06:01, 23 January 2013 or 06:50, 23 January 2013) that Snowolf69 uploaded rather than the current photo that is shown on the four pages using it? Jake-518 (talk) 08:15, 23 January 2013 (GMT)

I think the version from (06:50, 23 January 2013) would be good to use. It looks better IMO than the current version, and follows our image standards (the one from 06:01 is the incorrect aspect ratio). — ABCface 17:08, 23 January 2013 (GMT)
You just revealed your timezone... I'm torn, personally. I like the higher contrast one (we'll call it x:50), but the current one (at x:52 / orig x:05) is also nice. Maybe one of them could be reuploaded to SR-place-Throat of the World02.jpg or something so they could both be used. TheRealLurlock (talk) 17:55, 23 January 2013 (GMT)
That's not my timezone, that's the wiki default timezone. :P Mine is several hours different.
Anyway, there's already a File:SR-place-Throat_of_the_World2.jpg on the Throat of the World page, but maybe we could use one of the images for the Mountain Climbing hints page? — ABCface 00:49, 24 January 2013 (GMT)
Perhaps the current photo can be used for the mountain climbing page, while the newer photo posted by Snowolf69 be used for the Throat of the World pages? Jake-518 (talk) 03:33, 24 January 2013 (GMT)
I wouldn't mind using that suggestion. There's also the Lore page, so we'd need to figure out which one to use there as well. — ABCface 03:50, 24 January 2013 (GMT)
Here's my idea for the Lore page: We can use either an existing photo or we can request a new photo be taken of the Throat of the World. While we're on the subject of the Lore page, I think a photo of the battle between the ancient Nords and Alduin on the summit would be relevant. What do you think? Or should we try something else?
