I move this gets deleted, isn't relevent to the quest at all, its not a map of locations, its a map of Skyrim turned on its side that is not interactive. No different then the maps on tables all over Skyrim. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 06:38, 13 February 2013 (GMT)

I disagree. The maps all over Skyrim mark locations relevant to the Civil War questline, and there is an example on the wiki already. This image marks locations of the East Empire Company lockboxes where you can find the necklaces for the Pain in the Necklace quest. I think it is entirely relevant. Of course, I do agree that it could be rotated 90°. Darictalk 07:50, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
You're right, it is, in fact, Skyrim on it's side. But it is MEANT to be interpreted as a map of Solsthiem. :-) Darictalk 07:54, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
There IS a map of solsthiem already. File:DB-book-Stalhrim_Source_Map.png There is no reason why they would use a rotated map of skyrim when they already have a map of solsthiem they could have used. Furthermore, there is NO evidence to show that this map is supposed to show Pendant locations. Despite the fact that all the locations marked on the map correlate to cities, towns and military forts that are found in skyrim, there are 24 locations marked on the map, and 33 pendants on solstheim, therefore there isn't even the right amount of locations. Also, even if interpreted as a map of solstheim, these locations have next to no correlation with the actual locations of pendants found in solsthiem. Basically, this is a map of skyrim and nothing more. Jeancey (talk) 08:03, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
+1 for Jeancey (I feel like more could be said, but it has already been said.) ᴷᴬᴸᴯᴵᴻᵀᴵ□ᴻ 08:05, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
Hmm, since you put it that way, Jeancey, I withdraw my objection and support the suggested deletion. Darictalk 08:16, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
Hmm, I could've sworn those dots corresponded to strongbox locations. It IS sideways - I actually had to use TCL to get that angle. I can see now that it is Skyrim, but the dots still seem to line up. The dagger seems to be placed on Northshore Landing, where the map is found. (As for there not being enough dots, remember that there's a bunch of them together in some places - Raven Rock alone has 9 of them, for example.) My question is - if those dots don't represent strongboxes, then what DO they represent? The larger ones seem to be the 9 Hold capitals, but the smaller ones don't all correspond to towns as far as I can tell. It's almost as if they used the locations of cities in Skyrim in order to decide where to place strongboxes in the first place, but that's conjecture. Anyhow, if it turns out I was mistaken, I don't mind this file being deleted, but there does seem to maybe be something to this... TheRealLurlock (talk) 14:57, 13 February 2013 (GMT)

Lurlock I can explain the map. Large Dots are hold capitals, small circular dots are villages/towns/settlements/inns/etc. Square dots are Military forts. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 02:06, 18 February 2013 (GMT)
