NefasQS: First question of attention, because I think in San Francisco and Vegas when I was talking to devs it came up a lot the fact that the tooltips for The Arcanist skills were a very heavy, collaborative area between the writers and the lore team and the combat Developers for tooltips. And this question kind of pertains to that. In the skill "Arcanist's Domain" there are terms mentioned: "the vigoratum of Hermaeus Mora", "the enigmatum of Morian Zenas", and "the leviathanum of the Abyssal Sea". What are those terms, and how do they relate to the Arcanist arcane spell forms?

Michael Zenke: When I was working with the combat team on the Arcanist tooltips one of the things that I loved was the opportunity to put lore and context and narrative in sort of unexpected places. Tooltips for the class are a great opportunity to speak internally about what arcanists think about themselves what they care about and what they value. In the recent Loremaster's Archive, Azandar speaks of a throwaway reference in the tooltips about the Rune Knights and he expands on that as well. So, this is the place where I will say I don't want to be spoilery, but all of the references in the Arcanist tooltips are real whether or not they are well explored in this release, or the future releases. There is content and ideas behind all of them. The Arcanist was a great experience. I wrote like a million things that have absolutely nothing to do with what we actually shipped. A lot of those ideas are still in my head. The tooltips and that kind of framing is was a great chance to let some of that sort of leak into the into the Zeitgeist of the game. In particular, those three examples are yeah. I'm sorry I think I think I'll call it good there. Yeah, they're all real stuff, you just have to go looking for it.
