[Talvanus goes into so many ways of meeting a ghost that you almost become dizzy. Finally, however, you encounter a section that appears helpful to you.]

If the victim is haunted by a ghost, he's quite pale and usually suffers from severe sleep deprivation.

The only way to break the curse and finally be able to sleep again, is that the victim should apologize to the spirit, because in most cases, the victim has suffered the spirit's wrath in some way. How and where it comes about may be as varied as the recriminations which follow.
