Master Lien Valeth is the leader of the Putrid Hand, an offshoot of the necromancers. He can be found in Wendelbek, where he coordinates the search for the Dread Armor (see Shadows in a Struggle for Power).

Lien wears Lien Valeth's Robe and shoes and various items of jewelry, and is armed with a random blunt weapon and a staff. He carries various scrolls and potions, empty soul gems, and a black soul gem.
