Bastian's Favor is awarded for completing following list of tasks with Bastian Hallix as an active companion:
- Visit Eyevea. It is accessible during fifth quest of Mages Guild storyline, The Mad God's Bargain, or afterwards by using portals in Mages Guild offices.
- Read a book from any bookshelf
- Complete a Mages Guild daily quest, given by Alvur Baren
