Dufort Ruin

Dufort Ruin is an abandoned ruin that was once the home to the first Baron Dufort.

It was once known as the Meadow Fort, a smaller holding built by Harabant (later the first Baron Dufort) in the Oldstone Wood. Harabant lost his hand and his famed sword, Redheart, was broken during the last hour of a battle here. Despite this, the great warrior defeated the dread sorcerer Fellbore. Harabant Handless was later elevated to barony and moved his holdings to the current site at Castle Navire.

You will travel here with Isobel Veloise to complete the task for the Order of the Iron Fist. According to Isobel, the locals call the ruin "the old stones." Isobel and Aurelia Jourvel used to play here as children, pretending the ruin was a witch's lair, until a faun warband moved in. The main path to reach the ruin is from the west, but Isobel knows a secondary path to the ruin from the east.
