The Lantern Mantis is a hostile plant introduced with Murkmire. Stepping near one causes the plant to attack you, dealing minor physical damage. Unlike other carnivorous plants from Murkmire, the Lantern Mantis cannot be incapacitated.
Lantern Mantises appear in several locations, including the swamps of Blackwood, the Ixtaxh Xanmeer and Bthar-Zel. They also flourish in the Dawnwood of the West Weald.
A furnishing based on this plant can be obtained as a Legendary-level reward from the Xanmeer Crown Crates.
