Dialogue[edit]

I have some of the dialogue from this, there are multiple branching options so we may need more people to help to get all the options. I also chose the same path twice in a row and got a different ghost cutscene at the end (one being a mysterious ghost in clockwork/dwemeri apparel? another being her grandmother's ghost.

WIP:

"There is an aura of death about you, a quite dour and pervasive one at that. It's a good thing we found each other, I can patch you up in no time."
"Just need to identify the source of your spiritual malaise."
I feel fine.
"That may be so, but I've learned that spirits are crafty. And calling on them is often necessary. As my mentor, ghost-hunting expert Claudina Illden, would say-It's healthy to set boundaries in relationships. Especially with the dead."
Now that you mention it, I do feel a little off.
"Of course you do. To quote the famous ghost hunter Claudina Illdene--We mustn't shoulder the burdens of those who are gone. Their weight is light on the body, but heavy on the mind."
What should I do?
"Well, the next step is complicated. I need to identify the spiritual passenger you are dealing with. Have you been in any locations rife with death lately? A terrifying cave, or haunted ruin? A forsaken forest, perhaps?"
A cave.
"That makes sense. Subterranean places attract all manner of woeful entities. They reside within the crevasses, hide behind boulders, and wait beneath black pools. Did you encounter anything in the darkness?"
A ruin.
The ghosts of civilization are almost always riddled with spirits stuck remembering their old lives. Did you meet anything specific between the crumbling walls?"
Wilderness.
"Plenty of creatures both spectral and corporeal, roam the wilds. There are as many lost souls looking to take comfort in your mortal form as there are malicious entities who seek to take your life for themselves. Which did you run afoul of?
Beasts and monsters.
I thought I sensed something savage about you. Your passenger covets a hunt. Death was not enough to sate their blood lust even though the hunt is over. Now onto you, how are you feeling?"
Men and mer.
"Your passenger seeks the familiar to distract them from their plight. They hide in you to enjoy a dull likeness of their life they left behind. I'm afraid it will never be enough to satisfy their craving. Now tell me, how are you feeling?"
I can't say.
"I sense a strong, defiant, will. This entity relies on your ignorance to slowly overtake your thoughts and actions. If I'm correct, your passenger knows what they're doing and doesn't care about the danger you're in. Are you feeling all right?
About the same'
"I believe you are afflicted with a Lurking-type spirit. These entities wait in lonely places for hosts and avoid detection by setting deep into the recesses of your mind. Shall I begin the cleansing rites?
No, I will keep my spirit.
Yes, begin the cleansing rite.
Excited
Nervouvs.

The cutscenes I have gotten thus far: Spirit Hunter Mayrineh: Begone, undead traveler. Let this living host be free of your blight. Spirit Hunter Mayrineh: Grandmother?! Not again. Go back to your grave! Elder Bereha: Why must you ruin my fun?

Spirit Hunter Mayrineh: Begone, undead traveler. Let this living host be free of your blight. Tharer Alver: Seht's beard! You lot are more innovative than anticipated. Mark my words, next time I won't be so easy to detect!

Spirit Hunter Mayrineh: YOur time on this plane has ended, spirit. The Far Shores call you. Go from this place and never return. Spirit Hunter Mayrineh: Grandmother?! Not again. Go back to your grave! Elder Bereha: You were always my least favorite grandchild. Will you not allow me to enjoy my afterlife?
