Issurnawia Mine, with Andothren on left

Issurnawia Mine is a collapsed diamond mine northwest of Andothren.

The mine is easily reached by following the coastline northwest from Andothren. On entering it you will be greeted by a piece of paper hanging on a sign - a House Hlaalu Closure Notice. It warns that the area is unsafe, and indeed the many pitfalls that make up the mine will kill anyone who falls in without some means of slowing their descent. If you can survive the vertical nature of this place, there are two remaining diamond veins to mine in the first area.

At the very bottom of the pits, a trapdoor can be found, leading to the expansive lower cavern. Descending into this mushroom-filled zone will reveal the existence of a reclusive (and very hostile) alchemist named Behra Alduthri. On defeating her, it is worth taking the Master level Mortar and Pestle beside her journal, as it is worth nearly as much as all the diamonds you can harvest in the mine. Above this piece of apparatus stands a mushroom - on it can be found the unarmored Skill Book Charwich-Koniinge, Volume 1. A final diamond vein can also be found above the exit from her chamber, with yet more diamonds being present in a chest on a rocky ledge high on the south side of the room.
