Lan Orethan Outpost is a small outpost on the road running through Lan Orethan.

The outpost is situated on the road between Sailen and Dreynim, and functions as a shelter for Indoril scouts, tasked with keeping the surrounding woods free of bandits and other threats, and reporting on the movements of travelers. Their scouting forays and close proximity to the old Dunmer stronghold of Merihayan has spooked the resident vampire, Berelas, who will task a visiting vampire with eliminating the occupants of this place.
