Detailed Walkthrough

Your next quest from Gindaman is a matter of local law enforcement. A necromancer has taken residence in the cave of Midannecne, and the molecrab farmers at Sarvanni have asked for help in dealing with him. Gindaman suggests heading to Sarvanni to ask for directions to the cave.

The fastest way to Sarvanni is to travel to Tel Ouada then head east out of the city, south at the first crossroads and follow the road as it turns east then south then east again. Talk to anybody in the Sarvanni area and they will tell you that to get to the cave, you need to follow the path round the mountains to the east, then south past the Boethian Mountains Lighthouse. Midannecne is just south of there, on the right side of the road. If you already know the area, you can save a little time by heading southeast, cross-country from the crossroads until you reach the path that the Sarvanni residents mention then head east.

However you reach Midannecne, you have to kill Nevos Drelvi who lives there. Once he is dead, head back to Firewatch and talk to Gindaman again. He will reward you with two gloves: Ether Bloom and Ether Leech, and three Mages Guild reputation points. His disposition towards you will increase ten points.
