Do we want this template to be used?

I've seen editors removing map images from Skyrim articles with comments like "unnecessary" or "not needed". At the same time this template is found on Skyrim pages, and other editors provide maps because of that. --Alfwyn 16:30, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

I think it's worth keeping, it may become useful when interior maps are possible. Since interior maps are useful and we used the extensively in Oblivion so i'm think they'd return, anyway back on track - could be used for tracking down pages that down have int. maps during the mapping process? --Kiz ^{·•· Talk ·•· Contribs ·•· Mail ·•·} 17:28, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

I'm not proposing a deletion, just some discouraging of it's use in the Skyrim namespace if we don't want map images there anyway - it just creates frustration for users if they upload asked for maps that get promptly get removed. Or it may be another policy/style question: Are we sure we want no map images? If yes, we should clearly say so somewhere. If we want an interior map and not a map of how to find the location, we should clearly say so too. --Alfwyn 19:18, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought your were just asking on its usefulness with view to deletion. I don't believed it should be use yet in Skyrim namespace, I thought that exterior map shots where not wanted but we did want images in the style of this image?
